Austria last night won the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland.

The song "Wasted Love", performed by 24-year-old JJ, won it with 436 points. It's the third time Austria has won the competition, having also won it in 1966 and 2014.

Israel finished as runners-up with 357 points, just one point ahead of Estonia.

Host nation Switzerland - which hosted the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest in 1956 - finished 10th with 214 points and the UK - which last won it in 1997 - finished 19th with 88 points.

So next year's Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Vienna or some other Austria city.
