As far as Chuck Strahl is concerned...

...this is "a cooked-up, slanted question":

I wish to maintain the ability to market all barley, with the continuing exception of feed wheat sold domestically, through the CWB single-desk system.

OR

I wish to remove the single-desk marketing system from the CWB and sell all barley through an open-market system.

gotta hand it to Doer. If he's pulling a fast one he managed to get it past me.

beauty

Strahl said barley farmers can vote to maintain the board's export monopoly, scrap the board's role as marketer or allow the board to be part of a free market for barley.

such hypocracy is truly a rare item. I hope the Calgary School feels as utterly used as they really have been.

The question on the ballot will be:

:laughing7:

- The Canadian Wheat Board should retain the single desk for the marketing of barley into domestic human consumption and export markets.

- I would like the option to market my barley to the Canadian Wheat Board or any other domestic or foreign buyer.

- The Canadian Wheat Board should not have a role in the marketing of barley.

for those of you who haven't figured it out yet...

option #2 is FASCISM
