THIS is the moment a 1,000lb bomb destroys a Taliban position in southern Afghanistan — while a Royal Marine is heard shouting: “That’s gonna hurt.”
The astonishing sequence — clearly showing the bomb falling — was filmed by a pal after a five-hour firefight defending a hilltop observation post.
Heavily outnumbered, the 14 Marines from 45 Commando had been pinned down and were running out of ammo.

Only then did they radio for air support. Ten minutes later a US B1 bomber let loose three precision-guided Paveway bombs on three positions.
The camera panned to another Marine who, with ciggie in mouth, smiled and said: “That’s the s***.”
The bomb killed at least 20 Taliban fanatics.
