Arkansas Sues Chinese-Owned Shopping Platform Temu | China in Focus

One of America’s most popular online shopping sites is in hot water. Arkansas is suing the Chinese-owned app Temu, accusing it of being spyware in disguise. Another Chinese retailer is also facing pushback. A UK-based human rights group is launching a legal bid against fast fashion giant Shein. Both of America's top political parties share concerns over competition with China. Beyond economic reasons, they're also zooming in on national security. How can we defend America from the Chinese Communist Party’s political warfare? What does the term "warfare" really mean? Retired U.S. Navy Captain James Fanell just testified before the Oversight Committee, and spoke to us about it.

Don't know about Shein, because I never order cloths. I have bought some tools from Temu. Certainly not high quality, but the price is in line with the quality. Pretty sure the air over hydraulic pump I bought isn't spying on me.

Nope, but when you went on Temu you gave the CCP your personal information. Temu also comes with free CCP spyware whether you want it or not.
