I love em so much, they have a song for every emotion you could be feeling or any event that could be happening in your life.

Unfortunatly there lead singer died of a "heroin" overdose, say the officials.

Personaly I think it was because he was educated he read philosophy and came from a lower middle class family.

And we all know the government hates people who rise up against amazing odds to become something great.

He dropped out of college were he was literly weeks away from attaing a degree in finance, to join his band...

His life was full of strife and tormoil , and he died whe things were just about to turn around, he just had a baby with his long time girlfriend, and they had plans of getting married.

I think he actually died of a heroin overdose. His music wasn't something the CIA and any other alphabet soup organization would be concerned with. Lots of muscians dropped out of college when they were seeminly so close to attaining advanced degrees. Lots are also heroin addicts, some live, some don't.

Country Joe was far more political, certainly forced injection worthy......and it's a one, two , three what are we fightin for? Don't ask me I don't give a damn, next stop is Vietnam.....and it's a five six seven................... :lol:

He wrote a song from an objective point of viwe on the LA riots, and told the REAL reason why they happend, he told the truth in a song, the CIA hates that!

There are song writers who are more talented and better at the "truth" than the above. Why are they still alive?

Anyway, someone else can take this conversation over. One time, when I was about your age, I too believed the CIA was responsible for the death every artist I loved until I stopped believing everything I read......break on through to the other side..........I'm a Voodoo child!
