Perhaps one of the few things good in the world right now is its music.
heres a great song by "The Offspring"

My friend's got a girlfriend
Man he hates that bitch
He tells me every day
He says "man I really gotta lose my chick
In the worst kind of way"

She sits on her ass
He works his hands to the bone
To give her money every payday
But she wants more dinero just to stay at home
Well my friend
You gotta say:

I won't pay, I won't pay ya, no way
(now now) Why don't you get a job
Say no way, say no way ya, no way
(now now) Why don't you get a job

I guess all his money, well it isn't enough
To keep her bill collectors at bay
I guess all his money, well it isn't enough
Cause that girl's got expensive taste

I won't pay, I won't pay ya, no way
(now now) Why don't you get a job
Say no way, say no way ya, no way
(now now) Why don't you get a job

Well I guess it ain't easy doing nothing at all oh yeah
But hey man free rides just don't come along
every day

(Let me tell you about my other friend now!)

My friend's got a boyfriend man and she hates that dick (and the guy!)
She tells me every day (woo! everyday now)
He wants more dinero just to stay at home (stay at home!)
Well my friend
You gotta say: (gotta say!)

I won't pay, I won't pay ya (woo), no way (no way!)
(now now) Why don't you get a job (woo - get a job!)
Say no way, say no way ya, no way
(now now) Why don't you get a job
(oh yeah!)
I won't give ya no money
I always pay
(now now) Why don't you get a job (get a job!)
Say no way, say no way ya, no way
(now now) Why don't you get a
job!

true, alot of bands were better off with their older stuff compared to the new, like greenday. and i kno its old.........but honestly i still enjoy music of the 80's and 90's :)

Music is pretty exciting right now IMO. There is a huge mix of genera that we wouldn't have if the big labels had control. The only objection I have is in how music is being mastered.

Miss annika, the offspring song reminds me of puddle of mudd's "She f**ken hates me".Another very good song. I don't know why but it has been running through my head a lot lately.(Yes,I do)

Wally I love that Puddle of Mudd song as well!
I am one of those people that gets stuck on certain music and never moves on, just plug in my ipod and I am in my own little world.
Right now I am back into Collective Soul, Everclear and my always favourite Bon Jovi!

To each their own, enjoy yourself..I have been listening to a lot of songs from movies. My favorite starts out like this ----- "I could wile away the hours, conferring with the flowers, consulting with the rain, with these thoughts I'd be thinking,I could be another Lincoln,if I only had a refrain".

This past weekend I went to a concert that featured Gary Allen, Keith Urban, LeeAnn Rines, Sammy Hagar, and Kenny Chesney. And I never suspected that I would get a wake-up call on my age...

See, when Sammy played "Three-Lock Box" my wife started giggling as she recalled that they used that song to dance to, in one of her P.E. classes when she was in 4th grade.

"Oh, I love that old Song!"

So there she was, dancing to Sammy in third grade in 1993, while I was getting my ass kicked in boot camp at age 22.

I guess everyone has those moments eventually...
