I have been called that on other boards because I hate hockey,Toronto, maple products, and Celine Dion. Or,do I just have some good taste? One Torontoan even made the absurd suggestion that I was really a Texan in disguise.

I don't watch hockey, dislike any city that gets too big, and think Celine Dion should be abandoned on an iceberg. Nobody has ever suggested that I'm unCanadian.

I think not

Glad I didn't ask this question here.

Relax. Canada will take pretty much anyone.

Except if you don't like The Arrogant Worm. Not knowing who they are is fine, but if you don't like The Arrogant Worms, how could you possibly be Canadian?

I hate to burst your bubble Toro, but you're a BAD BAD Canadian.

You're a conservative.

You left the homeland for the evil empire.

And you prefer individualism over a collective.

BAD Canadian! Go to the corner :p

Your not a bad canuk, I dont like professional sports much with the exception of a little baseball just because I used to play in my youth. Hockey and the NHL are getting exactly what it deserves. Toronto , I have been there several times , whoopy. to big, to expensive and just "to much". Celine well she is ok, but now with a big show in Vegas she will not be coming back up here much.

Even Calgary which I used to really enjoy visiting is showing some serious growing pains and it takes to long to get anywhere not very convienient. But I may be a bit spoiled because I can still ride my bicycle to downtown Saskatoon in a half an hour or less.

Its probably a perspective thing..............

am I the only one who likes Celine? well I don't care. I'll admit it. I love her. Yeah, I know that she pretty much abandoned the best country ever, but at least she's in my hometown now. I guess.. :? And like Toro said, Canada allows and tolerates everyone. They rescued my ancestors from the b****** Americans!! oh yeah, this is about missile.. sorry, but I don't think you're a bad Canadian. But the hockey thing. If you're not really interested in it, then ok. But you hate it? oh the shame..

I dislike pro sports in general. I absolutely hate pro sports that pre-empt a TV show I intend to watch. I rarely watch it, but it seems the only shows I watch are the only ones pre-empted. I hate the "urban elite" Toronto attitude. I don't much care for most maple products, but the syrup isn't bad occasionally. Celine Dion has a real impressive singing talent, which, unfortunately, she almost never displays. Instead she just YELLS. I hate that. I have a friend from Texas who has been here for 20 years. Trust me, there's no disguising that accent.

A bad Canadian? Naw, you just have the conviction of your own perceptions, rather than following the zeitgeist like a sheep.
