Not when people support divisive agendas. It is a pipe dream.

That's right, like the divisive agenda propagated against the First Nations people for the past 300-400 years. Finally that wrong is slowly being righted and people like yourself don't like to see the wedge that was driven into the First Nations slowly being removed.

Like legal inequality? Ignoring precedent? Ignoring International law? Generalizing an entire people? You mean that kind of divisive agenda?

I'm sorry, your logical inconsistencies are hard to follow.

Re: MNN is rewriting history!

Yup, nope, nope, yup. 2 for 4
I'm 4 for 4, unless you're being logically inconsistent.

Or does precedent only matter in hockey?

And international law is only valid when you deem it so?

And if you say no to 3 and 4, 1 is an automatic no.

But that would be logically consistent.

you're improving.
It's shame you can't.

Why do you have such difficulty distinguishing between a legal argument and an ethical argument?

I don't, and you aren't ethical if you think legal inequality is the way to go.

Besides, you haven't produced a valid ethical argument either. Outside your own mind that is.

Having difficulty getting around your logical inconsistencies are ya Cannuck?

Re: MNN is rewriting history!

Couldn't agree more. It's nice to see you are finally coming around.
I've known you weren't ethical from the get go. Why else would you generalize an entire group and call them leeches on the gov't tit. Or negate the rampant theft of land and funds, that have taken place for over 300 years.

I saw your true colours long ago. I've just been having a field day exposing them to everyone else. With your help no less.

Thanx.

Re: MNN is rewriting history!

Hey, I do it all the time with the homeless in Victoria who; ironically, are not first nations but usually bums from Quebec and Ontario!

The only first nations' person I see in Victoria hangs out at John's Place and she's a nice lady! I've bought groceries for her a couple of times already and her daughters are also nice.

First nations often have a bad rep on the Prairies but we treat our Salish well in British Columbia.

Really?

You want to act like my kids when they were 5?

I mean I knew I was dealing with someone that wasn't very mature, but this is just pathetic.

You gotta play to your audience.
If you were acting, but you aren't. Which makes your posts pathetic.

You're the "Family Guy" fan remember?
I see you're back to comprehension issues and selectivity again.

Anything else you'd like to try and twist Joey? I can do this all day. Not as entertaining as a mature debate. But you seem to be all there is to work with, so I'll go with what's been given.

Well, at least we can agree that you aren't ethical if you think legal inequality is the way to go. The question now is when are you going to change your support of legal inequity?

We don't agree.

I believe in legal equality, whereas, you do not.

You've made it abundantly clear, domestic and international law pertaining to contractual obligations to First Peoples, are crap, and that we are all leeches at the gov't tit. Which negate 300 years of theft and abuse, by the Crown.

Which of course you base on your erroneous strawman, that the contracts were race based.

The question now is when are you going to change your support of legal inequity?
Never. I believe in legal equality to strenuously.

Question for you...When are you going to stop the generalization and bigoted commentary about First Nations?

Re: MNN is rewriting history!

Yeah First Nations are crap. Let's deport them to Siberia and hand the land over to Chinese and East Indian immigrants, they are the "new Canadian".

No I haven't. That is only what you choose to believe. Your closed mind will not allow you to see.

I believe in legal equality, whereas, you do not.

I believe you believe that you believe in legal equality however, given that you want different things for Canadian citizens then it is quite clear you don't.

Re: MNN is rewriting history!

No I haven't.
Yes you have...

No, you believe it is contractual. I don't.

any contracts between or with these "nations" are irrelevant.

Of course, these contracts are legally binding and have been held up as such by the SCC. Making your opinion contrary to domestic and international law. Which by your position, means that the law should only apply to your version of citizens.

That is only what you choose to believe.
No, that is what you said.

Your closed mind will not allow you to see.
My closed mind just fed you, your own words.

I believe you believe that you believe in legal equality however, given that you want different things for Canadian citizens then it is quite clear you don't.
Show me where I have stated that I want anything less for Canadian citizens?
