Yeah, well, the history of conflict between Ireland and GB is based mostly on the wish of GB to subjugate Ireland's people and the Irish people's resistance to being subjugated. The religious aspects are mostly propounded by newsmedia and are only aspects involved with the shaping of the conflict, not the roots of it.
If GB were not so bent upon conquest and had left Ireland alone, the Irish would have been content to scrap amongst themselves.
