A call to Iran

The reason is simple.
Different interpretations of what God is according to their source material (Torah and writings before it).
That's it.
The God of Islam is the same God of the Jews as it is the same God of Christians. But because all of them think they have the sole answer for how to worship said God, they can't not fight among themselves.
You're all vying for the favor of a God you all agree exists, you just aren't sure about how to deal with him in life.
If you'd all just get over yourselves and let people worship as they wish, then there wouldn't be the fighting and death that your so called God abhors (but really doesn't cause he's one of the worst instigators of murders ever created).
God, the Creator, is Most Gracious and Most Merciful and Most Kind and Compassionate: He makes the mother kind to her baby.

God commands peace and goodness, but people choose the evil and transgression .. but God will not leave the transgressor and will not equal the guilty like the innocent .. this is His law of life and for all people.

Moreover, leaving the transgressor and the wrong-doer to his caprice and desire will corrupt people's life, and God misguides such transgressor and wrong-doer so as he will be a disbeliever.

Now disbelievers will not leave people to worship God, but will always and by all means fight the worshiping of God, and it will be necessary that God averts the disbelievers by the hand of believers.

Quran 22: 40, which means:
(Had it not been for that God restrains people: some men by means of others D ,
cloisters [of Christians, which are on mountains and in the rural areas],
and churches
and prayers [would have been forsaken]
and [the Muslim places of worship: the] mosques – wherein God's name is mentioned much [in the times of the five prayers every day] would have been destroyed
E .
But God will surely help those who help His [cause]; surely God is Most Powerful, All-Mighty.)

Explanatory notes of the previous aya:
40 D It means: Had it not been that God set the believers on the disbelievers and they killed and terminated them, the disbelief would have prevailed, the prayers and God’s worship forsaken, and the mosques and the places of worship would have been destroyed, as in the following sentence in the aya.
40 E The Jewish places of worship are called the K'nesset or the Synagogue, while Sabaeans call them: Mandi.

Northern Ontario,
Maybe you don't realize it, but proselytizing by any religion outside a church synagogue or mosque etc. etc. turns people off, unless they already believe in what you're saying!

In this forum, you're wasting your time , sonny!

My comment about the previous aya:

This indicates that even though disbelievers claim of words like freedom, liberty, humanity, human rights, democracy etc .. but actually they frankly fight God's religion and will not leave believers to their own worship or devotion ..

In fact, disbelievers will strive to abolish the God's worship and to destroy the places of God's worship like the mosques (masjids), the cloisters, the churches, the synagauges, the k'nesset .. etc.

So it is essential that God set believers on disbelievers to fight them and prevent them from destroying the places of God's worship and prevent them from abolishing the prayers .. or else the disbelief would have prevailed.

Is a False Flag different than a False Storm created by the Environmental Industrial Complex?

I like Led Zeppelin but only a handful really know what it sounds like when the levee breaks.

updated 12/7/2005 8:38:47 PM ET

Were the levees bombed in New Orleans?

By Lisa Myers & the NBC Investigative Unit
WASHINGTON — It's become a strongly held belief by some in the storm zone — the idea that the destruction of New Orleans’ heavily poor, heavily black Ninth Ward was neither an accident nor an act of nature.

Dyan French, also known as “Mama D,” is a New Orleans Citizen and Community Leader. She testified before the House Select Committee on Hurricane Katrina on Tuesday.

“I was on my front porch. I have witnesses that they bombed the walls of the levee, boom, boom!” Mama D said, holding her head. “Mister, I'll never forget it.”

“Certainly appears to me to be an act of genocide and of ethnic cleansing,” Leah Hodges, another New Orleans citizen, told the committee.

Similar statements, sometimes couched as rumors, have also been voiced by Louis Farrakhan, leader of the nation of Islam, and director Spike Lee.

“I don't find it too far-fetched,” Lee said in a recent television interview, “that they try to displace all the black people out of New Orleans.”

Harvard's Alvin Pouissant says such conspiracy theories are fueled by years of government neglect and discrimination against blacks: slavery, segregation and the Tuskegee experiments, during which poor blacks were used to test the effects of syphilis.

“If you're angry and you've been discriminated against,” Pouissant says, “then your mind is open to many ideas about persecution, abandonment, feelings of rejection.”

The latest theory is partly rooted in historical fact. In 1927, the levees were bombed to save parts of the city, and black neighborhoods were inundated.

But independent engineers investigating levee failures during Katrina say that's not what happened this time.

Prof. Robert Bea, from the University of California, Berkeley, studied the levee failures and his team issued a preliminary report.

“We didn’t find any evidence that would indicate explosions,” says Bea.

New Orleans columnist Lolis Eric Elie says the federal government badly neglected black Americans during Katrina, but he does not believe the levees were blown up.

“One of the problems with that theory,” Elie says, “is that there were a whole lot of other areas of the city, including some that are predominantly white, where there was flooding.”

Harvard's Pouissant also says that latching on to conspiracy theories is a way for the powerless to cope with terrible losses — incendiary claims born of an enormous tragedy.

How a suspected Iran-based campaign tried to get Canadian media to spread fake news

An online disinformation campaign believed to originate from Iran tried to get Canadian media to amplify fake news, a CBC/Radio-Canada analysis has found. And in at least one instance, it was successful.
The campaign was first discovered by researchers at the University of Toronto's Citizen Lab, who detailed their findings in a report published last week. Dubbed Endless Mayfly, the campaign relied on short-lived fake news stories that disappeared after being propagated by unwitting targets.
CBC downloaded thousands of Endless Mayfly tweets identified by Citizen Lab researchers and searched for references to Canada. CBC also inspected each account mentioned in the tweets to identify Canadian Twitter users. This revealed that while the campaign targeted thousands of Twitter users around the globe, a slice of the effort specifically focused on Canadian accounts.
Throughout 2016 and 2017, some of these accounts targeted 12 Canadian media outlets, including the CBC, to drum up attention for a fake story claiming the CIA backed a failed coup in Turkey.
Another tweet tried to get Le Journal de Montréal, a French-language daily, to cover a false story that claimed Saudi Arabia was supporting then-presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron in the 2017 French election. The article was hosted on a fake version of Belgian news site Le Soir and was eventually shared on Twitter by far-right French politician Marion Maréchal-Le Pen.
In a few instances, this media-baiting worked. Reuters, for example, reported on a fake story cooked up by Endless Mayfly which said that six Arab countries had asked FIFA to disallow Qatar to host the 2022 World Cup. The story had been published on a dummy mock-up of a Swiss news site.
Global News picked up the Reuters story and later corrected it.
While the Citizen Lab researchers cannot definitively point a finger at the Iranian government, they wrote that they "find with moderate confidence that Iran or an Iran-aligned actor is the most plausible explanation" based on evidence gathered. Their analysis shows that the pieces of fake news pushed by the network closely align with Iranian interests.
"It's hard to definitively pin down what their objective was, but I think it was to get their stories into mainstream media," said Gabrielle Lim, lead author of the report. "I think the objective was to sow geopolitical division between traditional adversaries of Iran, like Israel, Saudi Arabia and Western countries like the U.S."
The role of social media
Another component of Endless Mayfly was attempting to get false stories published by alternative media outlets around the globe. Twitter users posing as independent reporters tried to contact several outlets, offering to collaborate. One of these outlets was The Rebel, a far-right Canadian news and commentary site run by the outspoken Ezra Levant.
There's no indication that anyone using The Rebel's Twitter account responded to the fake account associated with the name Brian H. Hayden, described in his profile as a "freelance journalist."
However, Montreal-based website Global Research did. The site publishes stories promoting theories that have been debunked, such as chemtrails. In 2017, Global Research published two articles purportedly written by Hayden, both identified by researchers as stemming from Endless Mayfly.
One article claimed that Israel and Turkey were trying to sow division in the Middle East by supporting an independent Kurdistan in Iraq. The other claimed that former Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif was a stooge of Saudi Arabia.
CBC reached out to Global Research for comment but has not yet heard back.

Another call to the Iranian People and Government:

This call concerns all Muslims and all people in general whether Muslims or not:

Glorify God alone, and refrain from the enthusiasm about others like the imams, the prophets, the kings and the righteous people, and refrain from the enthusiasm about Jesus Christ, and about Ali and his sons .. just worship God alone without associate or peer.

So the Iranian people and government: leave the enthusiasm about the imams and their tombs .. but glorify God alone and hold fast with the Quran .. and then you will prosper and will overcome your enemies ..

or else the opposite will be the outcome when people will seek help of Ali and his sons, and when they pray the imams and ask their needs from their tombs.

Steps incumbent on the Iranian people and government:

Positive steps should be taken by the Iranian to achieve this goal:
-- Cut the expenditure on the tombs of the imams, and shift it to God's houses of worship: the mosques.
-- Prevent the half-educated men from increasing the enthusiasm of people about the imams and their tombs.
-- Remove the signs and banners from streets and public places .. such signs and banners that encourage the enthusiasm about the imams and their tombs.
-- Encourage and educate people to glorify God alone without associate .. at that time, I guaranty the triumph and dignity for the Iranian people and government .. or else they will deteriorate and their enemy will be set on them.

Wouldn't they be like the people of Prophet Jonah .. when they believed and devoted themselves to God alone without associate --> God shifted the chastisement from them

Quran 10: 98, which means:
([Of all those past nations who disbelieved and were destroyed] if only there had been a community that believed [before the coming of the torment], its belief would have profited them,

except Jonah's people: when [they saw the torment coming on them], they believed [so at that time] We drew off the torment of disgrace from them in the life of the World, and We gave them 'comfort and respite' till the time [of their death appointment.]

Can Jesus, Ali or others create any thing?
Can they provide the provision for anyone other than the provision which God states or decrees for every being?

Quran 30: 40, which means:
(It is God Who created you [people], then provided for you, then [by night] makes you die [through sleeping], then [by day] quickens you [through awaking.]

Is there among your associates, anyone who can do anything of that?

Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate [with Him!])

40 d It means: Can your idols, and those whom you worship apart from God, create, provide the provision, revive and kill?

Therefore, if you know they cannot do anything of that, then why do you worship them, while they cannot harm nor profit.

The enthusiasm about the Prophet and his household
Such enthusiasm is not recommended in the Quran; in fact, God - be glorified - condemned and forbade the enthusiasm in loving the imams and prophets.

Quran 4: 171, which means:
(People of the Book [: the Gospel], do not exaggerate in your religion a)
171 a i.e. do not exceed the truth in your religion.

Essential point for Iran to get rid of the Coronavirus:

1- Close the shrine and tombs of Imam Riza and other shrines:
Because the infection will spread among the visitors of these tombs and they will spread it more withing the community.

2- Don't pay attention to the idolaters and enthusiastic about the imams and their tombs: those who say, it is the blessing .. while at the same time they prevented the Friday Prayers, which indicate their enthusiasm and idolatry.

3- Take all precautions and measures like avoiding the crowds and cleaning of hands ..etc.

4- First of all pray God alone to save you, but don't pray the imams and the prophet himself, because this will increase the disease among people.

Comment: Once I asked the interpreter of the Quran, Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly: Were there wars in the past years?
He said: There were epidemics which killed large number of people.
I said: And what they did in response?
He said: They made celebrations for Imam Hussein, and then the epidemic would increase more and more.
