On another site I'm on, it was mentioned that RT (Russian Times) is a state sponsored media company. I responded by saying that most western nations seem fine with media controlled by a select few media companies. Kind of sad that western nations have to get important news from foreign news agencies, but then, it stands to reason, considering the concentration of media in the hands of a few in the west. The Network film was truly ahead of its time with this little speech:
