5,288 Cuyahoga County voters awakened by 3 a.m. automated phone call
CUYAHOGA COUNTY -- Cuyahoga County Commissioner Tim Hagan is beside himself after an automated message supporting Issue 15 was mistakenly sent out between 11pm and 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.
It's a gift Commissioner Hagan will not soon forget. The AFL-CIO donated the series of automated calls to voters to try and drum up support for Issue 15, the Health and Human Services levy.
"My own sister has turned against me," says a distraught Hagan whose sister called him at 6 a.m. to tell him about the middle of the night call.

Pretty embarrassing. I can't imagine many wanting to jump on the badwagon after a 3 am call.
