So why was it just sitting there? Why wouldn't they be rotating it such as to get people off? All they seemed to be worried about was putting up warning tape.

Two gondolas on the Ferris wheel went up in flames at Highfield Festival near Leipzig on Saturday evening. German rapper Ski Aggu, who was performing when the fire broke out, said he was "dismayed and shocked" by what happened.
