On a more serious note:

So, because someone "looked" male, they sent them to a male prison.

Only they were female.

Guess you CAN'T judge people by appearances?

Also mentioned in the article was rapist Isla Bryson. And I get why the change of policy after that fuck up.

Personally when it comes to rapists and murderers, and other violent crimes, the prisoners should be sectioned off by crime and kept to solitary, their "1 hour a day" out of cell time be also isolated, or depending on numbers, in their own little courtyards but still kept away from all people. Gender shouldn't matter at all in the end, only the crime they did. A woman murderer or rapist is just as horrible and disgusting as a man, period.

If they're not put on death row if the crime warrants it. (yeah, not a very "liberal" stance, is it?)

So you can't actually comment sensibly thus you de-age yourself to that of a five year old child with his fingers in his ears.

That's okay.

Your hatred, ignorance and... less than human attitudes are well known.

It's okay, kiddo.

Here's a pacifier for you, and look! It's even got a boy lion for those moments when you are confused about whether you're human or a lion!

I was in Toronto to see a play, and at the break I nipped into the gents', and as I came out I saw the long queue for the ladies. I announced to the waiting women "Ladies, statistically women live eight years longer than men in North America. Which just about makes up for the time y'all spend waiting in line for the washroom." My comment was quite well received.

No country that considers war and peace, crime and punishment, human rights, physical and economic well-being, and freedom of thought and expression to be less important than who pees where deserves to be a democracy.

Considering some of the weirdo's here, he might want to go to the woman's room; safer there.
Looks like he works for a living, & could be one of our kids….would have to respectfully deal with the public in a trade. Could be worse dudes forcing their way into a woman’s washroom. First impression would be he’s the lessor of most evils.

He looks like he’s got something to lose if he screws up, & sleeves aren’t cheap.

I agree, piss where you want, marry who you want, dress how you want, screw who you want, but leave the school kids alone, especially before puberty. It's grooming.
Funny how it's child-rearing except when it scares you.

You sound like the folk when I was a kid having a damn stroke over any kind of sex ed, and writing outraged letters to the FCC when Kirk and Uhura kissed on Star Trek.

Sex ed keeps kids from having sex. Also teaches them a lot that parents won't talk about.

Here's the thing; supporting kids who are LGBTQIA+ means that those kids will grow up to be adults who are LGBTQIA+ and while people may say "it's grooming kids!" or "They can decide what they want to be when they're older", it shows 2 things about these people:

1. They don't understand that LGBTQIA+ kids exist NOW and need the support and care NOW, not when they're older. Whether that help is to pause puberty and allow social transition, or after therapy and discussions, discontinuing blockers and allow puberty to continue with the gender they were assigned, it's medical care that's being forcibly denied if people who AREN'T the patient and family/guardian have their way.

2. It's all an excuse to shove LGBTQIA+ people out of the public view and back into the closet. As well if kids get the help they need earlier, their passing for the gender they are when they're older is more likely. So the bigots and haters won't know anymore who is trans just by looking at them (or rather, they won't know trans women; trans men they don't give a damn about which is why it's more misogyny than just dislike of trans people).

Basically it's all about the need of them to hate on LBTQIA+ - especially trans - people, even kids, because their small world view is somehow more important.
