In the First Test between England and India, England were by far the dominant team. Bad light, though, on the fifth and Final day meant that the match ended as a draw, meaning that the score in the Series remains 0-0.

Now, on the second day of the Second Test, the roles have reversed. India are totally dominant against England

(India 1st Innings FoW: 147,149,246)

The tourists gave England a torrid time on day two of the second Test at Trent Bridge.

Little Master: Sachin Tendulkar in full swing

India's bowlers polished off the England lower-order as the hosts struggled to a total of 198.

Zaheer Khan was the main threat to the England batsmen, finishing with impressive figures of 4-59.

India's batsmen launched into the England attack and an opening partnership of 147 from Dinesh Karthik and Wasim Jaffer propelled India into a commanding position.

Neither Karthik or Jaffer offered up any chances despite some disciplined bowling, especially from James Anderson, early on.

Anderson's frustrations boiled over into a series of minor confrontations with Jaffer. The Indian laughed off the sledging and merely pointed Anderson towards the scoreboard.

Anil Kumble has Chris Tremlett in all sorts of trouble as India continue to keep the pressure on England's lower order

Jaffer was eventually dismissed when he was caught by Matthew Prior off Chris Tremlett for 63.

Karthik was then caught by Alastair Cook off Monty Panesar for 77.

However, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid picked up where the openers left off and although Panesar took the wicket of Dravid for 37, Tendulkar moved on to 57 not out after celebrating his 11,000th Test run.
