Pierre Poilievre’s callous courting of Canada’s ‘deplorables’ (left wing in full panic mode)

PP is riding a wave of discontent, the solution to widespread dissattisfaction with the TrueDope government. It's virtually the same thing except TrueDope is running scared and is throwing the term around to try and make people scared. But being hypocritical is something this government is good...

    2SLGBTQQIA+

I am not one who ever said it was an issue. Of course I make an assumption that woman's washrooms have stalls like the men's just a few more. I have never actually been in one so I can't say for sure.

    2SLGBTQQIA+

From a strictly practical view, they would need to use a stall I would assume so no real issue.

Pierre Poilievre’s callous courting of Canada’s ‘deplorables’ (left wing in full panic mode)

Like always I will keep my ears open and make my choice on the walk over to the polling station.

Pierre Poilievre’s callous courting of Canada’s ‘deplorables’ (left wing in full panic mode)

He just has to counter the governments initiatives and suggest why they are wrong and give vague guidence on what he would do until an election is called. The opposition does not put forward policy. Length of time is irrelevant.

    Those ARRCAN apps on phones.

That's certainly a way not to stand out in the crowd.

Even if you could afford it, it is unlikely for sale. I haven't checked e-bay but it is unlikely.

    Roe v. Wade overturned?

The supreme court ruled against roe vs wade with the stated reason that the federal government could not override the state with a blanket abortion law. Whether this was the real reason or the stated reason is anybody's guess. So it is inappropriate for the federal government (at least with...

Pierre Poilievre’s callous courting of Canada’s ‘deplorables’ (left wing in full panic mode)

I suppose you also don't like his Oscar caliber performance in "Home Alone 2" either?

WE really need to get rid of this guy

Actually it's a time honoured political technique. Want to do something? "Leak" what you are thinking to a friendly journalist. It goes on the talk shows and the news and watch the reaction. If favourable, proceed. If not, tweek and then proceed or not. So if you hear talk you are likely...

Pierre Poilievre’s callous courting of Canada’s ‘deplorables’ (left wing in full panic mode)

As opposition leader, he is not really required to come out with platform or specifics. He can put his together come election time. He should have it ready as who knows when Trudeau will call an election.

PIerre takes it - 68 percent on the first ballot and what a winning speech

That whole endeavour is a giant conflict of interest.

Swearing an oath to the Queen a violation of religious freedoms.

Moot point now. He can swear allegiance to the King.

Pierre Poilievre’s callous courting of Canada’s ‘deplorables’ (left wing in full panic mode)

I think there are 2 schools of thought here for the Liberals. The first is that the longer PP has to connect with Canadians the worse it will be for them, The second is that perhaps over the long haul PP honeymoon period will end and he will fall back to earth. I really don't know which is...

Green Party president resigns, saying her 'optimism has died'

At some point in time, you may wonder why you have a party at all. Read the signs on the wall.

Saskatchewan RCMP say 10 dead, 15 hospitalized after stabbings, suspects still at large

If this was a city, there would be local police so this is not a bad idea. The RCMP can be called if needed to assist.

    Queen Elizabeth

I wasn't suggesting he was grieving 'incorrectly' just that it must be extremely hard on him on a human level. He doesn't have the option of wailing and crying even if that is what would make him feel better.

    Queen Elizabeth

When my mom died 2 years ago, I was with my family and liked it that way. To grieve and be thrust into the public eye where your every move is monitored must be a nightmare for him.

So, 'bout that Pro Life thing...

This is a classic case of left hand vs right hand where 2 government programs do not work together even when they should.

So, 'bout that Pro Life thing...

I don't see that. I think applying that is a stretch. Looking at everything though the abortion lens distorts the view.
