PIerre takes it - 68 percent on the first ballot and what a winning speech

That whole endeavour is a giant conflict of interest.

Swearing an oath to the Queen a violation of religious freedoms.

Moot point now. He can swear allegiance to the King.

Pierre Poilievre’s callous courting of Canada’s ‘deplorables’ (left wing in full panic mode)

I think there are 2 schools of thought here for the Liberals. The first is that the longer PP has to connect with Canadians the worse it will be for them, The second is that perhaps over the long haul PP honeymoon period will end and he will fall back to earth. I really don't know which is...

Green Party president resigns, saying her 'optimism has died'

At some point in time, you may wonder why you have a party at all. Read the signs on the wall.

Saskatchewan RCMP say 10 dead, 15 hospitalized after stabbings, suspects still at large

If this was a city, there would be local police so this is not a bad idea. The RCMP can be called if needed to assist.

    Queen Elizabeth

I wasn't suggesting he was grieving 'incorrectly' just that it must be extremely hard on him on a human level. He doesn't have the option of wailing and crying even if that is what would make him feel better.

    Queen Elizabeth

When my mom died 2 years ago, I was with my family and liked it that way. To grieve and be thrust into the public eye where your every move is monitored must be a nightmare for him.

So, 'bout that Pro Life thing...

This is a classic case of left hand vs right hand where 2 government programs do not work together even when they should.

So, 'bout that Pro Life thing...

I don't see that. I think applying that is a stretch. Looking at everything though the abortion lens distorts the view.

Pierre Poilievre’s callous courting of Canada’s ‘deplorables’ (left wing in full panic mode)

Reread your post in the light of that you were talking about your sex life. You will see his homour then. And it was a joke. I doubt he really cares.

So, 'bout that Pro Life thing...

This has nothing to do with 'pro-fetus people' and everything to do with fucked up government bureaucracy.

So, 'bout that Pro Life thing...

So she got caught in the bureaucracy. One would think if they are keeping her for rehab, she would automatically qualify for rehab. But the stupidity of bureaucracy never ceases to amaze me,

So, 'bout that Pro Life thing...

If it was not that serious, and the prisons were overcrowded, it does beg the question how she remained in jail. She should have been out on bail or likely have gotten a light or no jail time sentence if it was purely recreational. She likely wouldn't have even been charged. So I have to assume...

The duties and freedoms as Prince are distinctly different than that of King.

Saskatchewan RCMP say 10 dead, 15 hospitalized after stabbings, suspects still at large

Perhaps in cases like this if the parole board had to serve the same sentence as the guy they release gets due to a re-offense, it may make them more strict in their release criteria. Not going to happen but nice idea to hold the board accountable. Maybe just lifetime removal from a parole board...

Saskatchewan RCMP say 10 dead, 15 hospitalized after stabbings, suspects still at large

The 25 years for first degree murder is the minimum. He would not be eligible for parole for 25 years. Not sooner. But yes, its all concurent as otherwise it would violate his rights.
