:D That sounds pretty tasty, actually. And quick and easy, which is the ticket first thing in the morning. When one is busy canoodling.

The simplest great French Bread recipe

We've been using a breadmaker for years, and love it. Hmm, come to think of it, that's a good idea for something to do this instant! Well, okay, maybe in the next instant, or the one after that. Okay, OKAY, maybe not in any of today's instances, but in a very-near-future instance. My god. I...

The Sinister Recipe for Fabulous French Bread

Dex, that sounds so good! I have a way to simplify the Sinister Bread even more. YOU bake it. YOU mail it to me. I eat it. I rave about it. See, that way we both have two simple tasks to perform, it's a true division of labour. :D

So what's your favourite thing to have for supper?

Hey, thanks for the information, Dex! As for the strength to haul around a bucket that size full of water, well, this gritty soul can wield a whip twice as heavy, and I do, on a regular basis, in the Torture Rooms. Oh, and as for Zoofer, now you've done it, he'll be moving into your...

    Canadian Meals / Recipes

Re: RE: canadian meals Good god, that could almost sway me to eat chicken again. Almost, but not quite. :) Hmm, tofu basted in butter and maple syrup, maybe? Stick some feathers in it and who'd know the difference? (she stands back to await the angst and uproad soon to come down on this...

    CMA do-not-contact list

This may well have already been posted here previously, but just in case it hasn't: http://www.the-cma.org/consumer/donotcontact.cfm It's a do-not-contact form, good for telephone, mail and fax, in Canada. Good deal, it's free! You remain on the list for three years. Think of it, three peaceful...

Restaurants, little kids & noise. Lots of noise.

What do you think about parents who bring out-of-control kids into restaurants, letting them be overly loud and disruptive? Does it drive you nuts or do you feel tolerant? If you're a parent, are you militant in your belief that it's your god given right to be there as much as the next person...

So what's your favourite thing to have for supper?

Re: RE: So what's your favourite thing to have for supper? :D . . . and, "Does it come in a brown paper sack, with a straw?"

So what's your favourite thing to have for supper?

Whoa, is that ever a great price for wine! Trouble is, we are in a very small condo, it just wouldn't be workable. What about those places where you make the wine there? We have one nearby, but again, I don't know anything about it, even to know what questions to ask!

So what's your favourite thing to have for supper?

Tell me, you homemade wine makers, is it possible to make homemade wine when you have very, very little space to do it? I know nothing about it. Can it ferment (or do whatever it does) outside, as long as it's not freezing tempertures?

A friendship tail of the Beav and the Jim

Our Jim Moyer said something last night that struck a bell. He said, "We all need to be knocked off our comfort zones of habitual ideology." Hmm, said I, how right he is. I think it's time for our soggy dam beaver and our Jim of the Existential-speak to get flung bodily out of their comfort...

It's coming up on holiday time in a few months, so here are three questions about your experiences in travel: What is the most wonderful place you've ever visited? What visited place is a 'return-time-and-time-again' kind of place for you? Where is your most favourite place to visit within...
