This was the moment King Charles III made a touching visit to the world’s oldest person, Ethel Caterham, at her care home.
The King travelled to Lightwater, Surrey, to meet the 116-year-old.
Sitting in an armchair beside the King, Mrs Caterham - born in 1909 - recalled watching young Charles’s investiture as Prince of Wales in 1969, when he was aged 20 and she was 59.
