I wouldn't know, I've been off for so long. I won't be changing that for now, I'm up to my earballs in paper and boxes right now, and already appliances need TLC. Let's hope the well pump and septic system I acquired are in better shape.
I'm baaaack!! I could almost see your house today, I was in Castlegar for the first time since sometime in '95. I've been off he forum for a long time since they axed my job in Halifax, I've been commuting in between and living with my youngest daughter in Alberta for over a year but we finally gave away our house and sold our souls to buy another in AB. We might be camping in Nakusp again, who knows
Hi Cliffy. I just went through your pics, now I understand why winter is more comfortable in your trailer. It must be a lot quieter during rain and hail storms! And you have a porch to sit on too! Very cool addition.
Thanks Cliffy. I will look that up. I was under the impression that N. American aboriginal people were able to freely cross the border without restriction...unless, of course, it is a heinous criminal. We are all living on the American continent. Did this freedom exist earlier and was abolished?
"Despite an apparent genocide perpetrated against the Sinixt, and having been declared officially extinct by the Canadian government, descendants of the Arrow Lakes Peoples continue to maintain a presence locally."
I found this piece when I googled the Sinixt people. Were they aware they were extinct? A good way for the government to do as they pleased after such an official declaration.
