No,red dye is not mentioned in your links,I did not say that. Harper does mention ingredients and Ganong also brought it up in a news conference. I do not have a link for that ,maybe someone else heard it also. Dion will not reveal his source because it is his little secret, but other people have traced it to Maud Barlow ,a prominent socialist liar that is a member of the "council for canadians" or some similarily named group of misfits.

Right

like water is never going to be on the table.

When I saw the clip I figured Dion was making a point of putting the denial machine in motion. He's not without his smarts.

But,water was not discussed.Saying that it may be discussed in the future does not excuse his lie,and he will not be held accountable by anyone except a few conservatives for making such a scare-mongering statement. Using Barlow as a reference on conservative policy is akin to using logic7 as an authority on 9/11. Dion knows better but wanted to take a swipe at Harper so he went with it.That is unethical and not what I would desire in a leader. As for Jack's assertion that Martin would attend, who knows where that info came from. Maybe Olivia told him.

Harper did not say so.neither did Bush or the mexican president. I thought for a second that maybe you were capable of critical thinking, but obviously not. You are tilting at windmills. Once your original post is called into question, and rightfully so,you resort to fear-mongering and fall into the old "hidden agenda" ploy that the libs have used so effectively in grabbing the "scared' vote.Maybe behind the closed doors Harper sold out every one of Canada's resources, maybe he dressed like a schoolgirl and was buggered by Bush. You don't know what happened so you and the defectives fall back on scare tactics. You are a fricken moron.

It wouls be a huge stretch to call me a Harper supporter but I haven't seen any evidence of Harper lying in this case. Seems to me to be a case of seeing what you want to see.....which isn't very surprising.

What are you saying, that water won't be a very important part of any North American trade agreement? The fastest growing population in the US is in the Southwest, an arid or semi-arid region. The US already has serious water supply problems and is depleting some of it's most important aquafers. For current trends to continue fresh water is going to be needed to supply US needs, where are they going to get it, Mexico. The Colorado River doesn't even make it to the Gulf anymore because of diversions in the US. It's Canadas water that will be required in the future to meet US needs and there might not be enough to meet our needs due to climate change. We may have large static reservoirs but once those are used up we're just as dependent on precipitation as any other nation.

People are worried for a reason, something morons like you can't seem to figure out.

Sorry, I think posting definitions is just silly. You've failed to show how Harper has lied....but feel free to try some more. I'm not disagreeing with you that he lied. I'm merely pointing out how poorly you've made your point (or haven't made your point...whatever the case may be).

The issue here isn't whether or not Harper lied about any small detail, it's the secrecy that surrounds an agreement that will result in the deep integration of North America and the possible consequences for everybody. Waiting to find out how significant any changes will be is just stupid.

Since the thread is about Harper lying about jelly beans, that is eexactly the issue. I understand how it may not be the issue for you but I think BitWhys should explain how he lied. That is MY issue.

I am not saying that water is not important now or later.I am debating this thread about Harper's alleged dishonesty. The water issue was used because Dion used it to denigrate the whole SPP meeting. He was lying,Harper was not. You jumped in without understanding the thread. So,who is a moron? Beware of the boogeyman, simple child.

Whether or not Harper is lying about jellybeans is irrelevant. What is relevant is he's using something as meangless as jellybeans to distract us from the very serious issues here. People are concerned for a reason, water is one of the most important substances in our lives. Read my friggin post, the US has unsustainable water use policies in place right now. Once they've depleted there static reserves they're going to need a new source and that's us. Harper saying trust me is bull****, he's already shown how trustworthy he's been over the Atlantic Accord, Afghan prisoner question, Lumber deal etc...If he's looking out for US interests as he has in the past he's going to screw us over.

Open your friggin eyes and stop acting like we have a real Prime Minister. I wasn't a big fan of either Chretien or Martin but at least they looked out for Canada. All the Conservatives seem to be interested in is impressing Georgie, Dickie and Connie, it's disgusting.

edit-I forgot about the Income Trust lie, the Conservatives can't even keep their promises to Big Business and we're going to trust these slimeballs with our most precious resources. Anybody who supports Harper and his sad little band of sycophants is a moron.

I've said it before, the conservatives should have ditched this scumbag back in 2005, he's doesn't give a flying **** about Canadians.

Either you are incredibly stupid or you think I am incredibly stupid. If you actually believe the nonsense I quoted, then it is the former. Otherwise it is the latter. Either way, That single statement alone indicates to me that you are not capable of serious discussion.
