I was pointing out that we are not immune.

Playing TV on ExpressVu! Durka! The block buster game... I wish you had family feud on there.

ExpressVu is getting licenses for trademarked games all the time, you never know.

Do you play Playin'TV?

Yeah, I play the demoes, and some games I order for $1 for the day.

Think I will subscribe next month... probably cheaper!

Some games don't work on the 9200 apparently.

Oh, and still no go on TSN Extra and CBC News Plus, on the triggers on channels 400 and 502.. this is even on my 4100 receiver... no go.

All the interactive applications & triggers should work for your 4100 receiver, make sure you have the latest software on the box. As for the 9200, 400 & 520 have not been enabled yet.

Sorry for highjacking the thread.

U.S. would be the last place I would want to live. I would choose Japan, Australia or somewhere in Europe.

Newfoundland!
I'm not exactly sure of the benefits of so doing. I'm happy the way things are but if an advantage or good reason comes up then I wouldn't object.

The majority of the crimes and murders happen in the slum side of the cities... the gangs.

And racism only seems to come out of fear in the USA.

People are sometimes racist to Muslims their because of their ignorant fear of 9/11

Not many people are racist to others in the USA just outright.. usually has other reasons behind it.h
Well, actually, racism against blacks is widespread, all over the US.

However, it's pretty common in places like Halifax NS as well.

TenPenny, was that comment about racism in Halifax, NS supposed to be sarcasm or serious?

Lots of racism in SW Manitoba.

But west, in my veins courses the warm blood of the uniquely Canadian.

I can trace my blood back to England, France and Manchuria(if you want to get technical).

I can trace my families footsteps on this Continent, in both the US and Canada, back to the first days of the occupation(I kid) and beyond.

My ancestors have spilled there blood and others on this Continent and others, to defend this country. Oaths have been sworn.

Though I dispise the current state of our political system, this country is MINE, I was born in her, I will die in her, for her.

I may from time to time, sound off as if I hold myself outside the confines of Canada, as an Onondaga first and foremost, but I can be both. As there can not be one without the other, we all built this great nation.

Give me Canada or give me death. There can be no second choice.

well good for you!

I hate many aspects of this nation...but deep down I am proud

Always feel proud during our anthem (even know its not the best in the world :))
And I believe its the most beautiful nation on earth

Its I get frusterated with the current state of politics up here, thats why I come off as anti-Canadian.

I am more of a fan of American politics (not much anymore after war fiasco)

My roots are:

Born in Canada
Parents born in Canada
then my family goes back to:

USA
British Channel Islands
Scotland
Wales

Pretty white british lol!
