LOL

"Why are you against Gay marriage? "

Because I'm not very bright, I am ignorant, I have to have at least SOME say over someone else's life, I am bigotted, I am hateful, I am frightened of them, I am self-righteous, it's the requirements of the job I was given by an organization that has the same attributes I'm stating as mine, I am just plain mean, I am better than they are, etc.

Pick 1 or more reasons. :D

Aw, now Gilbert.... surely you have more constructive input than merely mocking those who don't agree with us. lol.

Do you really think that adoption agencies haven't explored the issue already? They gather information on every other area of a couple's lives which might impact a child negatively. It's not like adoption counsellors just run around willy nilly, handing out babies to every oppressed individual they come across.

I sure hope they do, as they would leave themselves, and adoption agencies open to law suits later
when children are older, if they don't cover their "b-ts., and protect little babies/children who they
are handing out to couples.

we know that children have been brought up in all sorts of envornments for the whole history of mankind. We also know that despite the nastiest upbringings, many of us acheive greatness and happiness beyond the wildest dreams of many of those brought up on silk cushions in suburbia with a nice fence around their house and a feminine mother and a masculine father.

It seems obvious to me that although upbringing is vitally important, the defining of a good upbringing is not dependant on the sex or sexuality of the parents.

your probably right, but the baby/child, has no say in this situation, unless of course the biological
parent did sign an agreement at birth, so that is my arguement, children just can't be handed out
willy nilly to whoever adoption agency wants to, it shouldnt' be their call, the child has "rights" and
those rights should be upheld, by someone other than those who are going to make "money".

you may not have noticed but the OP actually asked for reasons. We've been through them several times in several posts but I am prepared to fight this one again.

"Didn't you create an identical thread to this last week?"

This is a different forum, so I figured different people are on here. And is someone going to tell those people in Gametalk that I'm here?

You're kidding, right? It's un-natural and immoral. That's all I intend to say on this topic. It's borning. It was a shameful day in Canada when this was made into law.

Un-natural for someone to love another?

Instead of trying to oppress a certain portion of society why not embrace them like we do anyone else.

I'm sure people who didn't like interacial marraige felt the same as you long ago and even today.
