Nonsense. They did it for centuries.
Tut tut, Read the article. No shipping either. Basically the report says the UK will not produce meat, will not use fertilizer to produce vegetables, will reduce other food imports to avoid greenhouse gas emissions, and will not produce or import processed food as a substitute.

The authors say that progressively limiting red meat consumption will also be necessary, as lamb and beef will be outlawed in the UK by 2050. This has nothing to do with climate change and everything to do with forcing ideological (ie; Marxist) veganism on everyone. There are ways to reduce methane from animals that are cheap and easy to produce.

Windjammers don't produce greenhouse gases.

Cybertourism. And crypto!

Any other pressing problems I can solve for you?
Crypto? Are you serious? Crypto is a significant source of GHGs due the massive power consumption that's required for it.
And cybertourism wouldn't really make much money for the tourism industry in general, just the specific sights people want to see. Local businesses that sell consumables and rely, at least in part, on tourist dollars would suffer. Although there are small communities in Northern Scotland that would LOVE to see an end to tourist traffic.

You're so negative. Look on the bright side. About 99% of the world would be delighted if the Brits never left their island again.

You do realize that my ancestry is Welsh and Scottish, right? You know what would delight me? Not ever again having to hear some disgruntled FN suffering from ancestral seller's remorse whining about how this purchased land was stolen.

Well. . . my land wasn't purchased or sold, but y'know, there's a solution to your cousins' problem.

Well, Canada (except BC) was.
And oddly enough, I wasn't referring specifically to the American Native thing. You do realize there's a lot of countries out there that were pretty happy to see the English take a hike, right? As in "every continent except Antarctica (the penguins haven't released an official statement yet)."

Is this a joke? Will we all finally be able to transport ourselves using a transporting device like they have on the USS star ship Enterprise 1701? Beam me up, Scottie? LOL.

But besides that, I do believe that what the UK is saying here that there will be no more air travel for the UK peasants anymore by 2050 is probably true. Only plane rides that will be in service are the ones that will be reserved for the billionaire WEF globalists and wealthy movie stars. All others can either take a train, a boat or an automobile. Aw well. :(

Of course it is. It's a "report" from an unnamed source that got some government money.

Probably the Royal Institute of People as Dumb as You.
