Haven't really had time to look. I know about the poll you mentioned. Since I am not really good at this kind of stuff I put out a request for help. I think the one I am looking for was done by a newspaper in BC or Alberta.
Does this help?

"We will end funding for CBC digital and cut the CBC English TV budget by 50%. Our plan will phase out TV advertising with a goal to fully privatize CBC English TV by the end of our first mandate," said O'Toole at the time. "We will preserve CBC Radio - it is commercial-free and delivers public interest programming from coast to coast.

The CBC likes to spin the government funding they receive (a fairly substantial $1.16 billion) by saying that it creates 3x that much for the Canadian economy. My response is that a private company could take those assets and do even better for the Canadian economy as a whole (as evidenced by their already more efficient business models).

Ottawa declares state of emergency

The City of Ottawa declared a state of emergency Sunday afternoon in response to ongoing protests in the downtown core, while Mayor Jim Watson described the situation in the nation's capital as the "the most serious emergency our city has ever faced."

Watson said the declaration will help Ottawa Police get the supplies and equipment they need faster.

"The state of emergency gives our staff and our city a few extra tools to speed up things like procurement," he said in an interview with CBC News Network on Sunday evening.

Watson is an ass. ""the most serious emergency our city has ever faced.""??
Has he forgotten the tornadoes that demolished dozens of homes and damaged hundreds and people were killed?
Did he forget the 2 most recent floods that destroyed hundreds of homes and multiple infrastructure within the city limits? with some folks still trying to recover
Downtown people losing sleep does not qualify as ""the most serious emergency our city has ever faced."" !

It is simple , the powers that be can end all these protests at any time with the stroke of the pen . Stop the mandates , is that to hard to comprehend ?
OK. The feds can say No vaccination requirements for truckers at land border. That will fix it all.

Oh wait...the US said fuck you truckers, stay home if you don't have a vaccination. LOL

'It's time for protesters to pay the police.'

Funny how the Libshit retards suddenly have a problem with protesting. No more "Defund the Police eh moron? Now it's "Call in the troops".

Let's look at the attitudes of some of the "champions of political protest" today.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau dismissed last week the suggestion he should meet with the convoy protesters. “That is the decision Canadians took in the last election, by voting for parties that were supporting those mandates,” he said. Translation: You had your chance to vote last fall so take a hike. This was after the Ottawa police chief said the situation might not have a “policing solution.” And yet, Trudeau called for “constructive dialogue” during the 2020 anti-pipeline campaign to “shut down Canada.”

Vancouver mayor Kennedy Stewart released a statement on Friday warning protesters against blocking roads and digging in for the long haul, as has happened in Ottawa: “My message to the convoy is this: Vancouver doesn’t want you here. Make your point and then go home.” This is petulant sneering, but Stewart was, perhaps unsurprisingly, arrested in 2018 for blocking access to a Kinder Morgan job site in Burnaby, as part of an anti-Trans Mountain pipeline protest.

One prominent University of Ottawa professor encouraged people to avoid calling those involved with the convoy “protesters.” Instead, he advised, “call them occupiers,” and added that this was necessary in order to “frame coverage.” However, he had a much different position two years ago. “Protests are meant to disrupt. They’re meant to bring reality crashing down on you,” he wrote.

He never supported defund the police.

Seek medical attention.

Only after Trudeau Gov. petitioned them to do so, if Trudeau takes ours off it only stands to reason the petition for the US to do so would be void

Doesn't pass the smell test, Occupy movement took 3 months to get to that designation
So what you’re saying is rules and laws should be applied fairly and consistently across all spectrums of Canadians regardless of race or religion or financial status, etc…. If I’m understanding your response correctly. What a radical concept.

Bottom line is the US requires proof of vaccinations...not just for truckers but for everyone.
You can wipe out all health mandates in Canada but you still cannot get into the US.... which is what the original protest was.
In the meantime, real truckers are woking.

Pointing out hypocrisy doesn't justify defending criminal intent.
So what you’re saying is rules and laws should NOT be applied fairly and consistently across all spectrums of Canadians regardless of race or religion or financial status, etc…. If I’m understanding your response correctly. If so, how very Liberal & Woke of you.

Not sure what that means.
Ottawa mayor is a liberal (a Dalton McGuinty disciple) as is the PM and here we are.

I acknowledge that you support the arrests in this protest.

Pierre Polieverybro disagrees with you, however.
