I am not commenting one way or another I just thought it was interesting what others in
the world are saying. No I am not trying to say Harper is a Nazi or anything else for that
matter. I think he is very right wing and a Social Conservative linked to fringe evangelicals.
If this were true it makes being in a massage parlor pale in comparison, and yes that was
tongue in cheek.

Interesting read. If all of what was noted was indeed true.... then it does somewhat justify people relating Harper & crew to dictators, nazis, neo-nazis and the sort.

The link is coming up with warnigns of malware and phishing out the yang on my PC. What source is this? Source credibility plays very strongly in my assessment of what to believe/not believe. Yes, Harper is probably personally more of a social conservative than he has governed as thus far, but I think he is well aware of the limits of his power and ability to introduce lasting change if he tries to implement a radical agenda, and he IS a consumate politician. Thus some of the statements people make about him, I see as forgone conclusions but many I am very sceptical of...

CDNBear If you noticed I said I am not commenting on this, one way or the other.
I noticed it is alright to condemn Mr Layton but no one should post something about
St Harper. I even made it plain I do not consider him to be a Nazi or anything like that.
Harper is a social conservative with evangelical trappings, that is a long way from
being a Nazi. Journalists are within their parameters to do whatever. I am not a
journalist or a Newscaster anymore, I am sometimes a commentator and this is
quite within the bounds for that. Hard news is another thing altogether.
As I have said also had Layton been charged I would gone after the story for every
detail without exception. I was also part of the story years ago about Ujjal using the
Temple Lists to sign up bogus members and that led to the doorstep of the NDP
Provincial Office and it helped bring down the NDP in the 2001 election and rightfully
so. The whole leadership campaign was crooked to the core.
Hypocrisy is not part of the equation here at all. I think in political terms its called tit
for tat. Besides I am not a member of any party, and sometimes I go with the left or
the center but I avoid the right wing except for some of their monetary policy.
I enjoyed getting a rise out of you though have a nice day.

Perhaps this particular DNA predisposes Harper toward Christian Fundamentalism and support of other dark groupings. Who knows? I am not naturally a conspiracy nut but anyone who is a crazy Christian is frightening and should not be into politics or hold any influential office for they tend to follow other agendae. Who actually knows who/what is running Harper? Religion and politics are human institutions open to ready corruption. This has nothing to do with God. Canadian government is not responsible to the electorate - they are responsible only to themselves. This is a very disturbing aspect of Canada. Free Trade, GST, HST would never have been rammed through against the wishes of the people if we truly had power. We Canadians are not only puppets, we are merely a tax base for the politicos to feed off of and do whatever they please with the fruits of our labour. Think what you will about his politics but it's safe to say Harper at least got the brains in this family
