I'm well aware of electoral issues in the States.

But again, you're making claims, without documentation.

I was just curious if you could back up this claim, better than your others.

Thanks for admitting I shredded your other silliness.

That's a great big first step for your credibility.

.................
What about opinion/personal experience do you not comprehend??. It is up to you to produce the documentation if you disagree with them. I said you shredded the links and that the reasons had nothing to do with the material. This is exactly what I mean about slantiness. Your desire to win and the lengths you take it to are absolutely astounding.

I comprehend both just fine. But that isn't what you offered.

But feel to act as if it is.

You've already made it clear you don't know how this works. Not that it matters, you've already shown a propensity for ignoring when your opinion is proven to be based on erroneous material. But I can understand your reluctance to admit the error. People with a weak sense of self, oft have that issue. Which is why when I'm actually shown to be wrong, I will concede. Unlike you.

Which of course is a lie. Shall I post a link to the very post in which I took apart the material, not the link?

You would be the expert in the field your imaginary word would encompass.

Irony aside. I have no need to win anything. I simply follow the facts. The only one going to any lengths, is you. Hence the irony.

Do you have any evidence to support your claims? Even by your own standards, you challenged Eagles claim, with a claim, and no proof. Which of course flies in the face of how you seem to think this works.

How many standards do you have on this issue? Just out of curiousity.

Now back to the topic at hand.

I believe there are serious issues with electronic voting and the electoral process in general. I can actually back my opinion up with some case fact and evidence.

Fool you once huh? Whenever the Republicans win a Presidential Election the US Liberals accuse them of stealing the election. All the way back to Carter vs Reagan and the "October Surprise" fantasy the liberals concocted.

I will bet right now, the next Republican Presidential victory, they will be accused of stealing the election.

How else could they possible win? LOL

As I said absolutely astounding LOL.....My imaginary words?? hmmmm........ Slantiness equals not straight.....objectivity, being able to perceive what actually is....not preconceived......fact.........truth as it exists, or existed at a particular time. Does not include...... because,...... the reason was, is. or personal perception. Appears to be.......one's perception ......lie...untruth. In my opinion, you habitually use the word lie as though it were the truth but basing it's use on the slantiness of your preconceptions does not make it so.

My perception is you must win, in any manner whatever, even to challenging opinions you know to be based on fact. (this you admit doing) Must really gaul when all your flim-flamming fails to convince.

I understand how you use the word, but it simply doesn't exist in the dictionary.

Babbling will get you nowhere. My perceptions aren't in question. The tangible facts are. You have yet to post any that support your claims, as you made them. In either of the topics we are currently engaged in. And when certain glaring inconsistencies were pointed out, you simply ignored them. Or erroneously claimed it didn't happen.

Why is that?

Quote:

And yet, you are the only one of the two of us, that is using untruths, how ironic.

You do realize that I opened the door for you to make a huge error and you did. Just as I predicted.

Can you tell me how electronic voting produces a "chad"?

You just exposed that you aren't even aware of what type of voting machine was used, and fell into question in Florida.

Thank you again, for providing the material of your own demise.

I'd have to rely on "flim-flamming" like yourself, to be galled when it fails. As it has so monumentally for you.

Are there anymore erroneous claims, projection or otherwise silliness you'd like to get out of the way before you actually post something to back up your claims on the topic at hand?

Just look at the mess they have just landed the country & world in and they are not even in power!! Oh but hey,I bet you approved of how the Rethuglians put the country/world into crisis mode, over raising a debt ceiling........remembering, this was to pay for monies already spent.....and NOT for future spending. Furthermore, it was raised at least 10 times without all this crap in the recent past mostly by the Rethuglians themselves.

Rethugligans? Please... grow up.

Thanks for proving my point. The libs can never admit to losing an election... they think it had to be "skullduggery" because they are so pompous.

It is about time that cuts are being made and a blank check isn't given out.

Geez, did you miss that bit about the rich still getting those great tax breaks and the military budget not touched?? The medicare to cover the working poor and middle class, social security are on the chopping block. Are the taxes going up on these groups as well?? I missed that.

The military budget IS on the chopping block.

Because of the way the media works in the US, the news is very local. Every single aspect of a local case is examined adnauseum and is scarcely given mention elsewhere, so yes I am an expert on what happened in that election in Florida.

You're an expert on what happened in Florida!?!?! Please... you're embarrassing yourself

The Florida election was national news and as Bear said... how did the electronic voting machines create hanging chads?

Here is your "electronic" voting machine.

Wrong again Byrd

The election fraud in Florida involved more than the machine that was used.

The irony here, stems from your comments on the lengths people will go to be right.

You'll go to just about any lengths, to win...

This precludes your new angle...

Since you were not talking about electoral data manipulation.

Now to look 'right', you'll try and use deceit to 'win'?

How pathetic.

Sex first would be good.

The Iraqi can watch and we'll kill two byrds with one stone.

Your place or mine?

You're right... the Democrats lost in Florida so they kept trying to get the vote changed when the counts kept going the GOP's way. Voter fraud.

Yes, I can imagine having your ass handed to you would become tiresome and boring quickly.

Why don't you try being ethical, and maybe I'd stop tearing apart your posts.

Spoofs on the high jinks of politicians cut through all the crap about proving what most people already know. Here are a few of jon Stewarts sharp remarks on voting machines and Florida. He generally hits the nails squarely on the head.

Jon Stewart:- before we bring Democracy to Iraq or even Afghanistan,it might be prudent to bring it to Florida.

"If there's one thing we learned from our last presidential election, it's that democracy is far too important to rely on an outdated error-prone system like punchcard ballots. So, as we gear up for the 2004 vote, many communities have moved on to electronic voting - a far more high-tech, error-prone system." --Jon Stewart

Of course, as I mentioned, even with his brother of governor, no way could they get away with it in the same state, twice in a row.. So, they moved the venue to Ohio. Not quite the same scam of course.

Not quite.

Clearly true because you don't understand the difference between mechanical voting, electronic voting. And of course electoral fraud.
