There's a surprise.

Maybe, he'll do away with the office, altogether someday.

The Democrats and the protesters are the ones responsible for what they are protesting.
For decades they had promoted their own agenda an ignored the people who disagreed, silenced them with accusations of 'racism, bigotry, and treated them like second class citizens.
Those who oppose the influx of refugees are not racist, they are realists. There is much more to consider than terrorism before opening the border. The biggest objection is the inadequacies of our social systems to accommodate more people. Health care, housing and education are already overburdened and can't accommodate the present population.
Then there is the big debt Trudeau has acquired under the guise of building infrastructure, upgrading living conditions for the First Nations and address their alcohol and drug problems. and investing in projects that will boost the economy. So far he has done none of that but has catered to foreigners and blown the money on them.
There is a silent faction growing out of anger that they have been ignored and demeaned for their legitimate concerns. All citizens have a right to be heard and have their concerns addressed whether those concerns are shared by the government or not. You can't treat large segments of society like dog s h I t without consequences. Back people into a corner and they are going to fight back!
Trump got elected because he listened to the unheard hordes and now those who created those unheard hordes are in a frenzy to get back their control. Spewing out all manner of dire predictions for the loss of what THEY proclaim to be RIGHT!
Who are the Democrats and the protesters to decide what is right anymore than anyone else? Intelligent people know that there is no absolute right or wrong.
And Mr. Trudeau had better take note!

And that was wrong, if it happened, which it didn't. But it's right and proper for the neo-Nazis to ignore and silence anybody who disagrees with them, and treats them like second-class citizens. Because the Dear Leader is the source of all good and enlightenment.

Yet you supported Trump all along.

Sure did. It's paying off very well, too.

Here's the trick, shortbus. The fact that most Trumpkins are knuckle-dragging imbeciles doesn't mean that only knuckle-dragging imbeciles supported Trump. You probably haven't noticed, and wouldn't understand if you did, but a lot of pretty smart people supported the used-car salesman, and did so for reasons completely different from the reasons your mouth-breathing cohort had.

Yep, that and grunt are about the extent of your intellect.

The whole Sally Yates thing is terrific. It's exactly how it's supposed to be. The Attorney General and Acting Attorneys General serve at the pleasure of the President. They are supposed to be independent. AG Yates took a stand against the immigration order based on her notions of legal principles and the Constitution. And Trump fired her.

That's exactly how the system is supposed to work.

If you feel you cannot enforce a legal Executive Order from the President, the honourable thing to do would have been to resign. There are acceptable ways to contest orders by way of Constitutional due process.

But that as is much less dramatic than setting yourself up a martyr, and forcing the President to sack you. Well, Yates, you got what you wanted, i'm sure it'll stand you well in getting some lucrative office or position within the Democratic Establishment.. who will be quite grateful for this flamboyant (if somewhat incoherent) bit of grandstanding.

She must not have been inbred.
She was a career DoJ type (contrary to Smacky's alternative fact that she was an "Obama hack," but what do you expect from Smacky?) shoved into place to warm the chair and sign warrants until the new AG came on. She felt she couldn't uphold the immigration order. Trump fired her. All perfectly legal and appropriate. Only Twue Bewievers and drooling head-wound cases could make a big deal of it.
