Sanctions against Russia; should the Trump administration cancel them
The trouble with sanction is, it does not hurt the elite. It is meant to hurt the country as a whole but that means that the common people are the ones who are hurt the most.
I don't think sanctions against any country have ever worked well or accomplished whatever they were meant to accomplish.
