This Bannon guy looks like he has got a good sense of what can be done to prompt, to solve some problems. He is not a saviour, just a guy that thinks that there are ways to solve certain problems. He will modify the proposed solutions when it makes sense, to stay on track.

Steve Bannon Shares His View of the World - Small Dead Animals

Talk about a guy who gets it.

From 2011 but even more prescient now:

Speech by Stephen K. Bannon (Steve Bannon), Donald Trump's senior strategic advisor and architect of his winning 2016 election. In this speech delivered to the Liberty Restoration Foundation, Bannon laid out the political philosophy both he and Trump embrace, and which appealed to the American people in the election. It is conservative, perhaps explaining why the political liberal left has resorted to evidently incorrect allegations of antisemitism or racism to try to derail his appointment. Bannon was a Hollywood producer who created the Seinfeld comedy TV series, and later became the chair of the Brietbart News Service, expanding it into one of the leading news sources nationally, as an alternative to liberal media outlets that previously dominated US media. He joined the Trump campaign in June 2016, leading him to victory and the White House. Do you think that Bannon is racist, as the democrats have alleged?

Is Trump TV still a go?

It's mandatory.

Henceforth, the U.S.A. will be a one party, one station state. Anyone who doesn't agree is a fuctard, libtard, dem-dumb, pinko lefty socialist Obamie-commie and will be subject to secret arrest and waterboarding.

Gonna be GREAT, again!

What I see,,which doesn't mean shyt, is a rise in Nationalism. It could , if left to progress , evolve into a kind of fascism. I'll stay here though. There ain't no good Mexican food in other countries

Yeah... my issue with Bannon is that he's a total jerkoff, racist, xenophobe, has no problem with the far right wing-nut, fascist types, Nazi's, etc.

Having a guy like this advise a petulant man-child like Trump who has no more control over himself than a five year old, who doesn't care about anyone save himself, who is a danger too, well, too many people, is what I worry about. Him and his merry band of Fascist circlejerk friends.

Reparations for the last century of American murder have not been discussed, thier debt has not been reduced and cannot unless some lesser nations be dissolved into the American hug. Nothing can save America, certainly not a rank populist like Trump. He's a wind bag. The world has tired of Uncle Sham and nothing can or will put Humpty back together again. They have lived by the sword and will perish by the sword. You can't fix stupid.

It's mandatory.

Henceforth, the U.S.A. will be a one party... state. !
It was originally intended to be. The Founding Fathers were trying to avoid the kind of quagmire that was European politics at the time (and still is). Political parties cause division and that's the last thing they wanted for their new country.
And today one can easily see why. Democrats and Republicans, or more accurately their supporters, basically view each other as the enemy anymore. Each side even claiming that at least some of the other side's views are distinctly un-American.
The problem with that mentality is it becomes VERY much like a religious belief. In fact I'd go so far to say that it is indeed a religious belief. They merely worship something other than a deity.
