Sometimes it feels like the news is just on repeat. If you didn’t notice that the names and places had changed, you might not even realize a new story was being discussed. Riots broke out in Milwaukee, burning down businesses and assaulting people to chants of “black power” after a black police officer shot a black criminal over the weekend. You know, cuz racism.

The “victim” of the shooting, Sylville Smith, had a “lengthy” criminal record, a stolen handgun, and his social media profiles were littered with gangster poses and guns. A police body cam video has yet to be released, but it reportedly shows Smith running from a routine traffic stop, and pulling a gun on the officer before the officer shot him.

Predictably, none of this matters to the rioters. Just like in the cases of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Jamal Clarke, Tamir Rice, Freddie Gray, Walter Scott, Philando Castile, Alton Sterling, and all the other Black Lives Matter martyrs, the facts of the case are not at issue. They just want an excuse to commit crimes and demand resources from white people.

Racism; Everybody talks about it while at the same time they enable it!
I just heard Donald Trump's speech analyzed (again!) on CNN where he appealed to the black people for their votes in order to change their status; ie finding jobs, getting real change.

There was much talk about 'reaching out' to black communities. Let's ask ourselves what does 'reaching out' mean?
Does it mean attending black organization functions, mingling with black people in their communities, listening to them and making promises to them?
Apparently so. Apparently the black people and their fans are falling for it.

But what has Hillary Clinton done for them in the past? She has had years to make some real progress and doesn't seem to have done anything concrete or meaningful.

'Reaching out' might mean something if it resulted in improving the economy, reviewing and perhaps changing some of the regulations that make finding employment more difficult, ensuring equal education opportunities and encouraging them to stop isolating themselves as a people from other kinds of people. It doesn't mean a thing if it only involves talk and physical presence.

Trump was criticized for not attending black organization functions. Well, was he ever invited? How many white organization functions has he attended outside of business dealings? How many black people does his businesses employ? How many black people apply to his organizations for work?
So many questions that an open-minded person might ask?

The existing government talks constantly in terms of 'groups' How that must isolate them and make them feel different, separate and apart from mainstream society.

I wish they would stress the 'people' word and stop grouping everyone into categories like, black, white, latino, Muslim, gay, etc. Equality means equality not separating and promoting one group at a time.

People of different races and religious beliefs need to stop thinking of themselves as different or special and they won't stop thinking that way as long as government continues to allow it. Don't all races and religious people have the same basic needs and wants, food, shelter, a livelihood, freedom of lifestyle?

Do races/religious groups want equality or superiority, that is the question. Do they want action to make them equal or do they want empty promises? Are racial and religious groups 'reaching out' to the rest of society?

If the races and the genders and the ideologys all squabble among themselves for unique privilages based on skin or language they leave that same government you mentioned alone. If you're in a position of power you want to exemplify the differences by supporting unique rights, being seen to support diversity while implimenting totalitarian rule. What could go wrong?
