Megyn Kelly Previews Confrontational Interview with Bill Ayers
In a cable exclusive, Megyn Kelly got to interview Bill Ayers, a controversial figure known primarily for his involvement in the radical group Weather Underground and for his past association with President Obama that Republicans went after Obama for in 2008. Kelly showed a sneak peek of her big interview on her show tonight.
In the clips Kelly aired, she confronts Ayers about the number of bombings the Weather Underground was responsible for, and also the number Ayers personally was involved in. Ayers declined to comment on that. Kelly brought up the continuing violence from the Weather Underground and a statement by his wife in the past that suggested support of Charles Manson.
Ayers, you may recall, was used by Republicans in 2008 to go after Obama, leading to the infamous quote of Sarah Palin‘s about how Obama was “palling around with terrorists.”
