The Associated Press has uncovered what may become a vast new scandal for the Obama administration: the possibly widespread use of covert email accounts by political appointees, enabling evasion of sunshine laws designed to protect the public. [...]

This looks very bad indeed. Former EPA administrator Lisa Jackson has already lost her hob owing to her use of the pseudonym "Richard Windsor" in correspondence with both agency officials and outsiders, including environmental activists. These communications ought to be available through Freedom of Information Act requests, but the use of a covert email account circumvents FOIA search requests.
A practice that extended across multiple branches of government? It's like it was co-ordinated or something.

The Republicans don't get it, the more they go after Obama the more all those
immigrants, ethnic groups, women, the poor and lower middle class voters will
register for mid term elections. The current Congress is the most unpopular in
living memory and even the majority leader in Congress is afraid the electorate
will come out in force against the Republicans.
Scandals who cares about this nonsense. people care about maintaining their
medicare, seniors pensions and other benefits they will not vote for those who
continue these attacks justified or not.
Think about it scandal the IRS went after Tea Party folks and rich people. Those
urban voters voting for their entitlements are happy the IRS is ferreting out the
cheaters and those deemed impeding their own goals. Scandal Benghazi most
don't care its so far down the list of priorities its a blip on the radar screen.
These scandals are from the shrill voices that lost the last election and instead of
finding a way to create interest in their views they continue to attack the guy these
people love. It is just nuts plain and simple. Mind you the Democrats like it because
it makes their job easier. When will the political right, in America wake up?
The have set the alarm button to snooze and most Americans don't care about these
so called scandals and Republicans haven't figured that out yet.

Bet it began before Obama. Any money on that?

And so we move into another chapter of the Executive Branch hiding or deleting emails to avoid transparency, which of course goes back to Poppy Bush’s efforts to hide PROFS notesas part of the Iran-Contra coverup. The National Security Archive’s timeline, of course, misses the several efforts under the Bush Administration to either delete massive amounts of emails, particularly those from sensitive days of the CIA Leak Investigation, and the political staff’s use of RNC email addresses to take emails entirely out of Presidential Records Act retention

We don't like Obama. We don't like the fact we thought we won and we didn't.
We don't like Obama so everything that happens is a scandal of course. The
political right has lost the majority in America. All those the Republicans didn't
want in America are there, and they are coming out to vote in droves against,
you guessed it the Republicans.
The old guard of a nice conservative America is on their way to the showers as
the new image (remember those huddled masses) they have amassed behind
the Democrats and I think you'll see them show up every election for at least the
next few.
The problem for the Republicans and its a serious problem, they have lost their
credibility with the majority. The could in fact implode in the mid terms and that
is not good either. The real fiscal conservatives the valid people to hold their
parties mantle of power are frustrated by the Tea Party Rabble they are stuck with.
Yes I said rabble, these people have no concept of how institutions operate or what
they do. And the majority of Americans are getting tired of them.
Incidentally, Obama hopes they keep it up it makes his job easier, imagine everything
is a scandal and poor us and well it goes on like some well worn joke repeated over
and over.

How long did he stay in Iraq for after promising to remove the troops once elected?.... Actually, I understand that Gitmo is still going pretty strong too

That's not what was promised.

Really, how much time does it take to pack up some prisoners and fly them to an existing prison - a couple of days maybe? Seems to me like that is simply a broken pronise (or maybe a colossal cluster f*ck)

I guess that leaves very few possibilities.

  1. Lies
  2. Naive, inexperienced rookie
  3. Is a bigger Chief Idiot than all the rest combined
