Northern Ontario,
Anyone have a problem with one of them Navigators????

Yesterday my daughter in Toronto decides to take us to Niagara Falls...... a one hour trip. On the way there we decide to make a little detour to Olive Garden restaurant in Buffalo for lunch because we had heard some good things about it from friends...so we set the Navigator for the address and it gets us there with no problem at all...(by the way the food and the service there was the best)....
To come back, we set the Navigator for the Casino right besides the falls, which shouldn't take much more than half an hour, but the Navigator shows a twelve hour trip that would detour us to Pennsylvania and no matter what address we put on on the Canadian side, we would get the same run-around, so we were forced to use a map. As soon as we crossed the border it worked fine, to find the Casino.
And it can't be because my daughter's navigator had older maps, because the peace bridge has been there for a long time.................

Check your gps settings - probably avoiding a toll road, or something equally bizarre. I had mine completely baffled trying to get out of PEI with no tolls. (Not that I need a gps to get out of PEI, for gods sake).

Friend of mine headed out of downtown Halifax, for a rink in Darmouth, it was trying to make him go out and around Bedford Basin (an extra hour on a 10 min trip), because it was trying to avoid tolls.

Actualy the toll road selection was on since we had used the 407 (a toll road) the day before and using the toll road in Buffalo would have taken us the wrong way..this has me baffled too since I have been using GPS of one kind or another, for hunting, since they came out for public use in '91. Even tried rebooting it, which means shutting it down and restarting it on just the internal battery (not plugged in to the car)
