New S-500 Anti-Missile Missile Will Seal Russia Airspace

Some sectors of U.S. Think Tankland – with their cozy CIA ties – are now hedging their bets about Cold War 2.0, out of fear that they have misjudged what really happens on the geopolitical chessboard.
A shooting war is not exactly a brilliant idea. Russia’s S-500 anti-missile missiles and anti-aircraft missiles can intercept any existing ICBM, cruise missile, or aircraft. S-500s travel at 15,480 miles an hour; reach an altitude of 115 miles; travel horizontally 2,174 miles; and can intercept up to ten incoming missiles. They simply cannot be stopped by any American anti-missile system.

This article also could have been in bussiness threads. Any independent true democracy would cancel the next global war however those virtue do not apply with the main protagonist who has to loose so their creditors will be satisfied and safe from the howling mobs. Those same creditors have stolen too much defence money from the military industrial complex which left the protagonist nation with no credible defence. Now that's efficiency.

They can also be used to target stuff on the ground. According to the troll's I've talked to the Patriot (and Israeli equivalent) only are for air invasion.
The rebuilding contracts would be worth more than a war, the Bankers aren't about to let that boom go by without reaping some rewards.

Turkey is pulling back it's Patriot batteries.

http://www.military.com/daily-news/...aw-patriot-missile-batteries-from-turkey.html
The U.S. announced Sunday that Patriot anti-air and missile batteries and 400 troops deployed to Turkey will be withdrawn following a similar move by NATO ally Germany seen as a protest against Turkish airstrikes on the Kurds.

ISIS might end up with Bahrain and part of Saudi if they agree to pay a lot in 'fines'.

Sources say a Russian expeditionary force has already arrived in Syria and set up camp in an Assad-controlled airbase near Damascus which will serve as a Russian forward operating base. Assad’s army is reportedly in full scale retreat in the strategic province of Idlib.
Moscow’s move comes after series of negotiations between Moscow and Iran which Western diplomatic sources said focused on ISIL and the threat it poses to the Assad regime.
Iranian Quds Force commander Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani recently visited Russia and the two allies of Syria are said to have come to the conclusion that they would make any effort necessary to preserve Assad’s seat of power so that Syria would be a barrier to prevent the spread of ISIL and Islamist backed militias into the former Soviet Islamic republics.

S. . . would cancel the next global war however those virtue do not apply with the main protagonist who has to loose so their creditors will be satisfied and safe from the howling mobs. Those same creditors have stolen too much defence money from the military industrial complex which left the protagonist nation with no credible defence. Now that's efficiency.
Take all the income-tax collected and all world debt interest and put that into a pile and that is the amount they have to 'play with' to bring in the changes they want. That's quite a bit of money so it should be an interesting show.

Now Israelis have full control over Syrian skies... Russian T-90's are getting their tops blown off all over Syria... and Russian soldiers are getting bogged down in the Ukraine and coming home in plastic... and oil prices are going down down down. These things cost money YE know.

I wonder how Ivan feels each time he sees one of his T-90s or T-72s on Liveleak flame out after a TOW strike.

Keep rolling them off the ships Vlad.

Still selling out-dated supplies to your rebels, no wonder they fight and never actually win anything for very long. (let alone useless supplies to Lebanon from France)

https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/n...-drop-after-egyptian-giant-gas-field-discover

Israeli energy shares fell yesterday a day after Italian energy group Eni SpA announced the discovery of what is potentially the largest natural gas field in the Mediterranean off the coast of Egypt.
Israeli media described yesterday as a black day for Tel Aviv’s energy shares.
Israel’s the Marker magazine reported that the stock exchange index for oil and gas was down 7.6 per cent.
In a statement, Eni SpA said the newly discovered field could potentially hold 30 trillion cubic feet (850 billion cubic metres) of gas in an area of about 100 square kilometres (40 square miles).
“It's the largest gas discovery ever made in Egypt and in the Mediterranean Sea and could become one of the world’s largest natural-gas finds,” the firm said. The field is located at a depth of 4,757 feet (1,450 metres) in the Shorouk Block.
If the estimates are correct, the Zohr gas field would be significantly larger than Israel’s biggest field Leviathan, which is approximately 621 billion cubic metres.

I don't believe those specs.

If in fact they are correct, they would cost to too much to install more than a few.

I call bs.

What did happen to that thread?
You saying the money pit didn't work out for the US any better than Afghanistan did for the USSR? You do know they imploded right? Is that your prediction for the US?

The original launch point. good part is that the radar doesn't miss anything and while it may not be designed for all threats the 'recording' would be able to track the munition back to it's launch. (on youtube 20 minutes later)

That is considerably different than trying to march across Poland in a crushing invasion move with a set of them.
Moscow is supposed to have an operational S-500 so that is the short and med or long range of that system. This pic is the meteor from a while ago, the defense radar is for nuclear strikes.
