The Kalashnikov assault rifle, also known as the AK-47, has received a slick makeover to try to boost sales.
The re-launch featured women in tight black dresses showing off the weapons while Russian wartime music played in the background, The Moscow Times reported.
Export sanctions imposed by the U.S. because of the Russian government's actions in Ukraine have forced the manufacturer to look to other markets to sell the weapons, the Times reported.
The sanctions have reportedly stalled the orders of 200,000 guns intended for sale in North America.
Kalashnikovs have been used in wars since the late '40s.
The glitzy launch introduced revamped, streamlined guns for the military, hunters and sportsmen as well as a brand of Kalashnikov survival gear including clothing and hunting knives, Russia Today reported.
The new products will feature a black and red CK logo, standing for Kalashnikov Concern.
In English, the Kalashnikov's new slogan means "Protecting Peace."
