The series, alled "Merlin", which will use stunning special effects, will be shown in the autumn.
Merlin's secrets revealed

BBC

Merlin is a thrilling fantasy drama set to enchant family audiences in a brand new 13-part series on BBC One this September.

Every Saturday night audiences are destined to experience a series of magical adventures, as they follow the unlikely friendship of a would-be wizard (Merlin) and the future King (Prince Arthur).

The drama brings together a cast of acclaimed British actors (Richard Wilson as Gaius, Anthony Head as King Uther Pendragon) as well as exciting new faces.

Colin Morgan is the young wizard Merlin, Bradley James is the arrogant but brave Prince Arthur, rising star Angel Coulby is Guinevere and newcomer Katie McGrath is Morgana.

Multi-award-winning actor John Hurt has just been cast as the Voice of the Great Dragon. Enigmatic and powerful, he alone knows Merlin's true destiny.

Julie Gardner, Head of Drama, BBC Wales, says: "In this new version, Merlin and Arthur are young contemporaries for the first time ever, bringing a much-loved tale to a whole new generation with a fresh, youthful new look and approach for Saturday nights this autumn on BBC One.

"I am thrilled to announce John Hurt has just been cast as the voice of the Great Dragon. He is Merlin's mythological mentor and the only dragon left with magic powers.

"It is an absolute privilege to be working with him, as he brings real gravity to the series, alongside a strong core cast and brilliant guests."

He will be joined by Heroes star Santiago Cabrera as Lancelot and Bionic Woman Michelle Ryan as the wicked sorceress Nimueh.

Further guest stars include Eve Myles (Torchwood, Doctor Who) as Mary Collins (episode one), Will Mellor (Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps) as Valiant (episode two) and Julian Rhind-Tutt (Green Wing) as Edwin Muirden (episode five).

The eagerly anticipated series begins long before Arthur becomes King.

Arthur's father is Uther Pendragon, the tyrannical King of Camelot who has outlawed magic in the mythical city.

Gaius is the court physician who takes Merlin under his wing and helps guide him with his magical powers.

It's a rites of passage story which sees Merlin and Arthur on the cusp of adulthood – both on their journey to greatness in a time before history began.

Merlin is created and produced by Shine Television – the International Emmy Award-winning production team behind Hex and Sugar Rush – Julian Murphy, Johnny Capps, Jake Michie and Julian Jones.

Johnny Capps, Shine Television, says: "It's a privilege to be given the opportunity to reinvent a classic British legend for this important family slot.

"We have a wonderful cast and fantastic locations, which we hope will bring alive the magic and myth of Camelot for a new audience."

Merlin is being filmed in Wales and France for transmission on BBC One in September.

Spectacular CGI effects are being created by The Mill, the Oscar-winning visual and special effects team behind Gladiator and Doctor Who.

BBC Executive Producers are Julie Gardner for BBC One and Bethan Jones for BBC Wales.

I have been doing a book project for 2 nursing homes, and every book, hardback or paperback is priced a good bit higher in Canada.

For example, I just picked up a random paperback, and it was $7.99 in the US and $10.99 in Canada. What in the world causes these books so much higher in Canada? In the old days, the US tried to encourage people to read and to share books. We have a special lower
postal rate for mailing books.

Why are the books so much higher in Canada? Why books in particular?
The Darkness...

New British band Stone Gods are essentially The Darkness, minus frontman Justin Hawkins and with Toby MacFarlaine as a new member.

The Darkness split in 2006, causing Justin Hawkins to become depressed and seek counselling.

Meanwhile, his brother - guitarist Dan hawkins - asked the band's bass player Richie Edwards if he was interested in becoming lead singer of a new band.

Richie agreed, and with The Darkness drummer Ed Graham formed Stone Gods, bringing in Toby MacFarlaine as bass player. Richie Edwards, who played bass for The Darkness, now plays lead guitar in the new band.

Stone Gods released their debut album "Silver Spoons and Broken Bones" on 7th July.....

Stone Gods - Silver Spoons & Broken Bones (Stone Gods) UK release date: 7 July 2008
Stone Gods, formed from the ashes of The Darkness

Stone Gods are:

Richie Edwards: Vocals, Guitar
Dan Hawkins Guitar
Toby MacFarlaine - Bass
Ed Graham - Drums

A case of out of The Darkness and into the light?

Dan Hawkins will be hoping so. Justin's brother, or more fairly one of the two principal creative forces behind the Darkness, rocks his way back into contention with this, the first fruits of his work with bass player Richie Edwards and drummer Ed Graham. They've even got their own label, so no danger of musical differences this time - but they're clearly keen to preserve their previous identity, with the link to the old Darkness website now pointed straight at the Stone Gods.

It doesn't take long to realise they mean business either. "Foul play, mark of the devil" cries Edwards as Burn The Witch makes its presence felt. All lyrics are bound to be scrutinised for traces of animosity or other feeling between Dan and Justin, but the impression here is that the Darkness have been left far behind.

They certainly have musically. This rocks in a different, much more serious way, and though the parody isn't as blindingly obvious there's a huge helping of what used to be known as 'hairdryer rock'. Edwards has more than a passing similarity to Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliot in the vocal department, and so that comparison is inevitable even before the big drums make their presence felt.

Led Zeppelin, too, are a big influence. Hawkins' thrilling guitar virtuosity is still present, again used in context of the song rather than for self-gratification. But there's no doubt the songs are lacking that final touch that would make them big rock anthems.

Powerful choruses abound for sure, and the band sound confident and assured in the darkness to light of Defend Or Die. "You brought a knife to a gunfight, so **** you!" they cry in the next song - dismissing their target with ease. But while this is impressive bravado, there's little of that sense of humour we used to love from The Darkness. But then again, why should the Stone Gods do the predictable thing?

There are some touches of humour, but they are heavily signposted and hackneyed. The brief calypso interlude in Don't Drink The Water is a criminal offence, which would be funny were it not rather too earnest.

This is for fans only you might suspect - and those rare specimens who've had a long sabbatical since the power rock of the 1980s and want a new band to get into. Live they're bound to be strongly entertaining, but on record it all sounds like a retread of twenty year old rock. That said, you can't help but admire at the forthright way in which it's delivered.

In their youth: The Rolling Stones in 1966

Ronnie Wood has left his wife of 23 years for an 18-year-old Russian cocktail waitress, it was claimed today.

The Rolling Stone, 61, is said to have taken Ekaterina Ivanova to his home in Ireland, leaving his wife Jo behind at the family home in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey.

Wood, an alcoholic who is said to have 'fallen off the wagon', met her three months ago after the Leicester Square premiere of Martin Scorsese’s documentary about the Rolling Stones, Shine A Light.

The other woman: Ekaterina Ivanova is said to have run away with rocker Ronnie Wood following an extra-marital affair

Jo, 53, said she believed the pair had gone on a painting holiday together.

'They’re not boyfriend and girlfriend — not in that way.'

However, Ekaterina has been using Facebook to tell friends she and the
guitarist are having a relationship.

A friend told The Sun: 'She is absolutely besotted with Ronnie. She has told everyone Ronnie has left his wife for her and they are a full-on item.

'Ekaterina said Jo had told her she knew what was going on and begged her not to take her husband away. She claimed she told Jo, ‘ I am not taking him. He is leaving.’

Defiant: Jo Wood, pictured at Cipriani's restaurant last night, has denied the affair claims

A source close to Wood told the paper: 'Ronnie is not being his normal self. He is an alcoholic and he’s fallen off the wagon.

'He is drinking two bottles of vodka a day and there is no way he would be behaving like this if he was sober.
Trouble: Ronnie and wife Jo, here at his book signing event last year

'He went out and found himself a drinking partner — that is what this girl is. He knows that his family wouldn’t tolerate him behaving like this so he has run away to go and drink himself crazy.'

Woods has a long history of alcoholism and has tried - and failed - to conquer his addiction on numerous occasions.

The musician, who has also battled cocaine addiction, first acknowledged his drink problem in June 2000, when he admitted himself to the Priory for 10 days.

After coming out, he swore he would reform and even started drinking alcohol-free beer, but within a few weeks he had relapsed.

A failed second spell in The Priory in April 2001 was followed by a two-week stay at the tough Cottonwood Clinic in Arizona a year later, where clients have included Kate Moss, Paul Gascoigne and Naomi Campbell.

Again, he vowed to stay sober, only to be seen a few weeks later on the London party circuit clearly the worse for wear.

In March 2004, he was admitted once again to The Priory after being found inebriated underneath a restaurant table. And almost exactly a year later, in March 2005, he checked into an Irish clinic after getting drunk at wife's 50th birthday party.

In 2006, after celebrating his 59th birthday party in typically riotous fashion, he checked into The Priory, in Roehampton, London, for an intense five-day drying out session.

During their marriage, Jo made no secret of her dislike of her husband's drinking habits, which is also understood to deeply upset his adult children Leah, Tyrone and Jessie.

I took my grandson to watch this latest episode of the Indiana Jones saga last night. We enjoyed the movie even though, like most movies this year, the special effects were somewhat overdone. The storyline was a typical George Lucas offering with plenty of bad guys and lots of action. I would certainly recommend this movie. Indiana Jones fans will not be disappointed.

Davros and the Daleks tried to destroy every life form in the Universe, except themselves, in last night's episode

As the Time Lord he moves between dimensions with ease - but that didn't stop Dr Who fans from trying to track him down.

During Saturday night's grand finale to the latest series, millions of fans were surprised to see his personal mobile telephone number appear on screen.

On screen, the number 07700 900461 was shown as mankind tried to make contact with the TARDIS to the Doctor to scupper the invasion plans of Dalek leader Davros.

The Doctor's private mobile number appeared on screen during the final episode of the current series last night, which was watched by 10 million people

But while his sidekicks Martha Jones, Sarah Jane Smith and the Torchwood team managed to get through, fans thinking they had a chance to speak to their hero, played by David Tennant, were left disappointed.

More than 2,500 people tried the digits - before TV industry watchdog Ofcom revealed that it was a simply a special number reserved for television dramas.

One fan complained to the BBC's website: 'Grrr - I phoned the Doctor's phone number but there was just an annoying network message.

'What's the point in showing a phone number if you're not gonna use it?!'

A spokesman for the BBC, who film the series in Cardiff, said: 'Sorry - the number, and almost any number you'll ever see in a TV drama or hear in a radio drama, is fake.

'It's part of a range of numbers reserved by Ofcom .

'In fact if you ever see 07700 followed by a 9 you can be pretty certain it's a fake number for drama purposes only.'

The finale was watched by 9.8 million viewers at its peak and made up 47 per cent of the total audience share.

But the show experienced a backlash from some fans yesterday who felt tricked by David Tennant's regeneration - after frenzied anticipation that a new Dr Who would be introduced to the series.

Some fans accused scriptwriter Russell T Davies of creating a contrived story-line in order to continue Mr Tennant's run as Dr Who.

One fan wrote on BBC message boards: 'In fact the fake regeneration was a trick, a magic power to solve all the problems, AND a back-door way to let the Doctor stay with Rose and travel in our universe at the same time - so I found it very annoying.

'It's making the doctor's regeneration into a throwaway device, like the magic sonic screwdriver - not a good way to treat the regeneration.

'And the explanation was rubbish - 'Oh, I just decided I didn't need to regenerate, so why should I?' with a bit of technobabble thrown in. Definitely not good.'

Another fan said: 'After the 4th overblown conclusion in a row, I'm certain ready for a change, and a bit less reliance on 'never mind the plot, just feel the emotion and look at the big bangs'.'

The same argument raged on Dr Who fansites.

One wrote: 'As much as I have loved (and still do) David's version of the Doctor, I feel it really is time for a change. The script is so predictable for the Doctor now, we really need a breath of fresh air, and that is hard to say coming from one of his most devoted fans.'

It has not yet been confirmed whether Tennant will complete a full fifth series of Dr Who.

He will star in a Doctor Who Christmas special this year and another three specials next year but is not confirmed for the next series in 2010.

The fifth series has been postponed so that the Casanova star can play Hamlet with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Bookmakers William Hill have tipped the three favourites to succeed Tennant as actors David Morrissey, Robert Carlyle, and James McAvoy.
One of Dr Who's companions will be killed off in the final episode of Dr Who this weekend, according to growing speculation among fans.

Dr Who and Rose

Hints dropped throughout the series suggest one of the Doctor's friends will die while fighting alongside the Time Lord.

Billie Piper, who plays Rose Piper, and Catherine Tate, who stars as Donna Noble, are the favourites to face the chop.

Torchwood's Captain Jack, played by John Barrowman, and Sarah Jane Smith (Elizabeth Sladen), his original companion for the 1970s, are unlikely to die as they are both filming new episodes for their own spin-offs.

The most feasible senario could see Donna fall victim to the evil Daleks and their creator Davros. Donna has been told throughout the series that she faces an uncertain fate.

But some fans even speculate that the Doctor, played by David Tennant, will not make it out alive.

Saturday's episode, called Journey's End, will also feature a host of former companions including Freema Agyeman's Martha Jones.

A spokeswoman for the show refused to rule out the rumours. She said: "We do not comment on future storylines."

Saturday's episode is seen as the parting shot for script writer and executive producer Russell T Davies who will leave the show after four special episodes next year.

He will hand over to Steven Moffat, the writer behind some of the most successful episodes of the sci-fi revival, for a new full series in 2010.

The episode will be screened on BBC One at 6.40pm on Saturday July 5.
Davros hasn't changed much in 20 years

Doctor Who's arch enemy Davros is to return to television screens for the first time in twenty years in the culmination of the current series.

The Timelord must face the megalomaniac scientist, last seen entering an escape pod in 1988, in the final two episode of the long-running BBC1 show.

Now played by the Shakespearian actor Julian Bleach, the character plans to use his creations, the Daleks, to become the supreme ruler of the universe.

The Daleks, led by Davros, want Earth as part of the New Dalek Empire

Created by screenwriter Terry Nation, he was first introduced in Genesis of the Daleks in 1975, and last appeared thirteen years later in Remembrance of the Daleks

Horribly scarred and crippled after an explosion on his planet, Skaro, he had only one functioning arm and a robotic "eye" mounted on his forehead.

A master of robotics, the villain depended completely upon a self-designed mobile life-support chair which enclosed the lower half of his body.

This became the inspiration for his deadliest creation, and Dr Who's nemesis, the Daleks.

The return of his old enemy is not the only shock for the time-travelling Doctor, played in the current series by David Tennant.

Dr Who and his sidekick Rose, played by Billie Piper, are also faced with a new and deadly red Dalek.
Mark Bedford: Bass
Daniel Woodgate: Drums
Chas Smash: Backing vocals, dancer

The words of their first single One Step Beyond forever serving as their intro, I'm almost expecting them to pop out in a fez hat shouting "this is the heavy heavy monster sound, the nuttiest sound around".

Sadly they don't, in fact all the members of the band are late, so we're met by an apologetic pr and a handshake.

We're here to talk to the Nutty Boys at their studio in North London. They're knee deep in rehearsals for some shows at Hackney Empire, where they'll reveal in full their new concept album The Liberty Of Norton Folgate.

It's a collection of songs about an area in the capital which was fairly lawless back in the old days. The title track was recently revealed on YouTube, weighing in at an impressive ten minutes long.

Suggs turns up first, and we decide as time is tight to crack on without the others. So how is the band's first album of original material in a decade coming along?

"We've been working on it for about two years and it's finally seeing a bit of shape, and I'm very pleased with it. I suppose making a new record is announcing to the world that we're here to stay, because up to this point we've been having a great time and adding new songs to our set but primarily just doing the greatest hits thing which is still enourmously popular throughout the known world".

He's not wrong. After the first official reunion in 1992, the band have continued to pack out arenas - this winter they're also playing London's O2 Arena.

So just as we're getting going, I'm aware that another person has walked in, straight past the camera. "Hello its Chris our guitarist just walked in," smiles Suggs. "How are you mate?

Just clocking in?" Chris joins us on the seats, and Suggs gets back to talking about the album.

"I mean we've sort of been going on and off since 92 when we did madstock in finsbury park, writing and fiddling about, but we've really concentrated our efforts in the last couple of years. we write maybe 30 or 40 songs, which we're whittling down."

"To two good ones," Chris butts in.

"To two and a half good ones," says Suggs. Is it a short album then guys?

Band to release concept album

"I tell you what," Chris gets serious for a moment. "It's a good album, I tell you that now."

A good album maybe, but one thing that's not good is their timekeeping, here's another one rolling up late. Drummer Dan 'Woody' Woodgate. Go on then, sit yourself down quickly.

By now my time is running tight, but its been a brilliantly funny chat, thanks to Chrissy showing us his new shoes, which he says his wife hates, Suggs talking about being turned down for Take That ("They said I was a bit too young and good looking and fit for them") and the boys explaining how hard it is learning a ten minute song in time for the shows in Hackney.

Still, time for one more, especially as they're now squashed up rather close to each other. Do they all still get on?

"The fact that I'm sitting in between them means we get on with everyone in the band, yes," laughs Woody.

"Apart from him," says Chris, pointing at Suggs, who promptly brushes off the sarcasm to draw his own conclusion."It's remarkable after 30 odd years, whatever it is 29 and a half that we still get on very well. I mean we like playing music, you're sort of allowed to be a perpetual juvenile when you're in a band, then you have to go back to your normal life, but in this room we can sort of all be 18 again can't we, which is great."

And that was it, luckily no more of them turned up though, or we would have been there all day...good to see the nutty boys are very much still nutty after all these years....One Step Beyond.

Possible tracks

"Africa"

Is anyone here into cultural/international music? I never used to be, but in the past year or so I've really started to enjoy it. My boss actually told me about this group she had heard about called Seckou Keita SKQ -- a group of 5 people all from different countries. Anyway, its really quite good! Kind of a jazzy/bluesy/funky sound to it, but very true to their own cultures. Anyway, if you guys are interested in this kind of music, i really suggest you check them out!

This one is releases in Toronto on Friday, i think at the varsity theater.
I havent been as excited about a war movie since Braveheart. I dont think you can possibly go wrong with the story of genghis khan. I just hope the movie follows him right through to the end, rather than lead it up to him just becoming king. The trailer seems to show alot of him as a child.

http://www.movietrailerlive.com/ct_0002_Mongol_B

I do not know too much about the history of genghis khan. Does the movie seem as though it will be historically accurate for the most part?

and what's with the trailer saying "some saw him as a brutal leader, others saw him as God". How will they present this in the film? Horns and a halo?

I just rented this anime film over the weekend. Its from the creators of Appleseed (2004). My friends and I really enjoyed this movie. The story line was well done and there wasn't much in long drawn out moral speaches like in previous anime movies. The action scenes were also very well done especaily at the start of the film. It's interesting how in anime, Japan is the most technological advanced nation in the world but the U.S. is still militarily superior while it doesn't posses Japan's high tech toys.

Has anyone else here seen this movie?

Will Champion: Drums

AN album by some band I had never heard of landed on my desk yesterday.

I nearly lobbed it in the drawer of unheard music next to SCOUTING FOR GIRLS’ last release.

But the innocuous sleeve with an obscure codename was in fact holding the biggest album of the year — possibly the decade.

I can bring you the first full review of the new COLDPLAY CD, out on June 12.

And I think epic is the word. The full title — Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends — should have been a clue.

The band have really pushed the boundaries of what we expect from an album, producing a beautiful, serious and sometimes testing 45-minute disc.

The attention to detail is incredible. You can imagine CHRIS MARTIN, GUY BERRYMAN, JONNY BUCKLAND and WILL CHAMPION obsessing over every note and word in this, their fourth album.

The boys have developed and evolved their songwriting with each of their albums — from Parachutes, released in 2000, to A Rush of Blood To The Head two years later, then X&Y and now this.

They haven’t gone off the rails with drugs and booze, churning out rubbish, like many a band before them.

This latest album — much of which was recorded in churches in Spain and and Latin America — is full of religious references. It’s as heavy-going as the Bible but as ultimately as rewarding if that’s your bag.

The CD comes to life with a brilliant, glittering instrumental opener Life In Technicolour.

It’s just a shame it doesn’t burst into a full track, lyrics and all, because it could have been the best on the album.

The atmospheric, haunting Cemeteries Of London follows next and is one of the songs clearly blessed by holy water.

Lost! is layered over the sort of tribal drum beat that, with all the talk of world music influences, some were expecting to be more dominant on the record.

A track called 42 — which again is littered with references of ghosts and heaven — has been rumoured to be the album’s conquering centrepiece.

But I think there are even better songs.

And as with many on this complex CD, it’s like two or more tracks in one.

So are — as the titles suggest — Lovers In Japan/Reign Of Love, Yes/Chinese Sleep Chant and Death And All His Friends/The Escapist.

Lovers In Japan/Reign Of Love is a classic. Parts are slightly U2-esque and you could almost imagine BONO singing it.

It’s a beautiful rolling number and I can picture Chris running through a field in the video.

I reckon the album’s first single, Violet Hill — the video for which features magnifying-glass-wielding Chris, slideshow below — is its lightest and most pop-friendly offering.

Coldplay released the track free online for a week on April 29 — during which time an amazing TWO MILLION people downloaded it.

I can imagine Chris pulling at his hair as the band perfected every single second of Viva La Vida.

They set out to make a musical equivalent of a work of art — and succeeded. They’ve come a long way since singing about the colour yellow.

Coldplay facts

Album title Viva la Vida was inspired by a 1954 painting by Mexican FRIDA KAHLO, which CHRIS MARTIN saw.

The band changed their name a few times. They went by BIG FAT NOISES and TROMBELESE before finally settling on Coldplay.

The BBC's Terry Wogan, who commentates on the Eurovision Song Contest for British television and has been doing so since the 1970s, has accused other European countries of "political voting" after Russia won this year's contest.

Scoring works as follows - each coutry gives points to ten other countries (there were 25 in this year's contest). The points system is like this - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,12. Members of the public in each nation vote, but cannot vote for their own nation.

In the last few years, the "song contest" has been anything but, with countries often giving high scores - such as 10 or 12 points - to neighbouring countries.

Russia's winning song received the maximum 12 points by several former Soviet states, whereas the Balkan states, such as Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia and Macedonia often award each other high points, and so do the Scandinavian countries (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and Finland).

On a smaller scale, the UK and Republic of Ireland often give each other high points. In this year's song contest, the UK received 8 points from the Rep of Ireland (the UK's only other points - 6 of them - came from San Marino).

Because of all this, countries in Eastern Europe nowadays tend to win Eurovision thanks to all they votes they get from neighbours, whereas Western European countries - UK, Germany and France - don't do so well. And songs that are absoloutely dire often do much better than good songs.

Because of all this, Terry Wogan is threatening to quit if the political voting continues.

Dima Bilan clinched the first win for Russia with his song Believe, after receiving the maximum 12 points from former Soviet countries Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Belarus and Armenia.

Abraham came in at 25th place with 14 points, compared to Russia's overall score of 272 points, prompting commentator Terry Wogan to declare the competition was "no longer a music contest".
'No longer a music contest': Terry Wogan (top) believes losing UK entrant Andy Abraham (bottom) fell victim to Eastern bias.

Wogan was so disappointed by last night's political motives behind the voting, he admitted he may not present next year's contest.

He said: "It's a disappointment, considering that Andy Abraham gave, I think, the performance of his life with a song that certainly deserved more marks than it got when you look at the points that Spain got, that Bosnia-Herzegovina got - some really ridiculous songs."

Abraham only received votes from Ireland and San Marino - who were taking part for the first time.

Heart throb: Russia's Dima Bilan scored a massive 272 points to win this year's Eurovision title. He got the maximum 12 points from several former Soviet nations

Wogan admitted his producer Kevin Bishop had already decided to step down from running the British broadcast and he was considering joining him.

He continued: "You have to say that this is no longer a music contest.

"He and I have to decide whether we want to do this again.

"Western European participants have to decide whether they want to to take part from here on in, because their prospects are poor."

Wogan questioned the standards of many of the countries' entrants, but refrained from criticising Russia's winner Bilan, whose song was produced by American hip-hop star Timbaland.

He aid: "Let's not take it away from him, let's congratulate him."

Saturday's contest was held in the Serbian capital Belgrade and attracted an estimated 100 million television viewers across Europe.

I know he is not Canadian, but dammit, he should be.

First off i ahve to declare, anyone who doesnt at least half-enjoy Morgan Spurlock and his work sucks giant elephant gine.

How i first heard of Spurlock
Like Most people, through his most beautiful expose of glutony, Supersize Me. Was this movie not incredible? I remember hating him for flaunting his McDicks in my face for the hour and a half. Every meal he ate looked immaculate. Yet at the same time he really put the fast food business into perspective. The whole food industry for that matter.
So we can agree Supersize me was worthy.
If we can't, you suck because the soundtrack even trumps your opinion. Even if Blade had a Wesley willis song in it, i would thumb it up.
Since Supersize me, I ahve seen various episodes of Spurlock's 30 Days show. I agree that this show could use touching up, but as it stands is still decent programming. Don't argue this if you are a fan of such fecal prgramming as doctor 90210, Extreme Makeover, Wife Swap, or nanny ****.
By the way, a new season of 30 days starts this season. It will be full hour episodes...this would mean way more in-depth episodes. Probobly more educational this way.
Where in The World Is Osama Bin Laden?
I ahvent seen this movie yet, because i live in Canada and havent had the luxury of seeing it for the alst few months. But i think the idea of this movie is a good one. Better to down the American government than to up them. Until i see the movie, all i ahve to base my opinion of this one is on the 'official trailer' oooh!!!
http://movietrailerlive.com/ct_0002_Osama_A
Looks like Spurlock thats for sure.
Spurlock is educational and entertaining. If you dont learn soemthing from your entertainment, it isnt worth the experience in my opinion.
On top of that, he puts his mind and body at risk in ways other journalists would not. That is good journalism i think.
I'm sure all you guys disagree though?
