I've always felt the Shames would go nowhere without a bonafide first line center. They have one now in Ollie. Do they have the tools? For that matter, does any Canadian team?

They should have a great opportunity for a run in the playoffs.

They have had a good chance for a long time, and maybe this last move will help
them even more, but they do have injuries and these latest 'moves' have taken the place of injured players.

The Flames can go very deep this year. They could also beat out Detroit or San Jose in a seven-game series. Both of those teams have looked quite beatable recently, and Calgary has a LOT of offensive firepower.

Vancouver has a chance as well. Montreal, if they even make it into the playoffs, will not go very deep at all. They are not that great of a team to be honest.

Ottawa, Toronto, and Edmonton probably won't make the playoffs.
