What did Mae West say? - "When I'm good, I'm very good.... when I'm bad, I'm better."

Mother Nature has kicked my ass a few times trying to pound that message home, Peapod.
That's probably because you try to DO stuff after having a drink, Rev - not allowed.

I've seen the Rev set fire to himself before he started drinking Ten Packs. Its good advice, but the Rev functions better with a few in him. :P

Yeah, and then he blames the Docs for "trying to kill him".

Yup...It's gotten me into trouble more than once.

Empties are my retirement plan, Peapod...when those bad boys go up to 15 cents a bottle, I'll be rich.

You've seen me set myself on fire in at least two states of sobriety, Zen...not sure if you remember the other though. Thanks for for putting me out, in any case.

Speaking which...

Quote:
- Chop all your firewood first.
One year out at the Folk Festival Zen drank a bottle of tequila and decided to chop firewood. He was wearing a pair of shorts...no shoes, no shirt and, when you looked in his eyes, not a lot of service. The firewood was that stuff you don't need to cut that you buy in the campground. I gently retrieved the axe from Zen's hands and encouraged him to drink beer instead. He thought that was a fine idea.

Another time at the Folk Festival...actually a few years earlier...actually the year that Iit myself on fire while more or less sober...we (Zen and I) made a new friend. When he came wandering up and said he was from Montreal Lake a few bells went off. I've been to Montreal Lake.

We're nice guys though. We gave him a beer or two. Suddenly he was wandering around with the axe looking...menacing, I guess.

I remember more than a couple of times Rev. I also remember ..oh it must have been on Mrs. Rev's birthday watching the entertainment and the pyrotehnics. I remember a puppet show that would have made Cheney blush too. Then waking up on the ant hill.

I still have all my fingers and toes, it may not have looked like it but I am always careful around sharp implements.

heh, heh. That was the first year we were here. I'm sure the neighbours were impressed at the drunk guy sleeping on the front lawn.

If we tried to be like that now, I think we'd explode, Zen.

Edited: Woke up, now (second cup of coffee did the trick). Realised it wasn't actually very funny, so edited out of existence.

I don't know about a past life Ten Packs...well I guess college (RRCC) could kinda sorta be a past life. I often wonder how we survived a lot of things.

I don't know Rev... you could always claim I was some sort of strange perfomance artist. Maybe we;'d start a trend and everyone would want a performance artist for their front lawn.

I've known Zen since I moved to Winnipeg, Ten Packs.

John across the street was the only one who ever commented, Zen. I can't remember exactly what he said, but it was along the lines of, "I remember when that used to happen to me," then he gave me a beer or six. The neighbourhood has been missing something since he died.
