Registered today to begin daydreaming about a magical evening on a premier Canadian golf course learning new skills and abilities related to ‘The Greatest Game’ while meeting some of the area’s most dynamic and exciting single people. Everyone there will be over 25, single and probably more sophisticated than men and women in other scenes. The short golf game at the end of the evening is expected to be equal parts thrilling and hilarious.
Do registered participants need to rent or buy or bring any special equipment?
The answer is NO, just wear a pair of comfortable sneakers – everything else is provided.
The Single in the City inspired Singles Golf Lessons & Mixer event at Lionhead on 25th August 2016 is unique in its partnership with and conformance to the Bradlee Ryall Golf Academy group golf lessons program.
The Golf Pros at all Kaneff Golf courses are famous for training Ontario’s best juniors to compete for golf scholarships offered by many prominent American universities and colleges (and some Canadian schools). Just recently this well staffed golf academy gave free golf lessons to the entire 2016 Search for Miss Teenage Canada pageant delegates, fifty-six juniors in all, at two different golf courses simultaneously.
What is there to snack on while mingling before the golf lessons begin?
Food and Beverage sponsors include Iggy’s Pub at Lionhead (afterwards), but also two independent food companies are newly conformed sponsors and will bring their delicious wares right out on the driving range. They hope to set up just off the beaten path to provide refreshments for the opening ceremonies (as we wait for everyone to arrive). And so it will be that the meet & greet mixer at the start of the event will be filled with the sound of an actual electric mixer serving cold pressed juice from Happy Juice Co at the start of the evening.
Right alongside these guys, Sweets Canada will issue gourmet chocolate infused with flower blossoms and sea salt and other exotic taste combinations. Reminder: you can bring your friends and even people you’re seeing to test them out in these strange circumstances. If you’re dating a powerful person, it might behoove you bring them out to this event, especially if they’ve never golfed before… What you’ll see is a rare glimpse of the individual without armour, trying something new, and risking tomatoes. How they behave themselves here will be a very good indicator of how they’ll react to the many other ‘slings and arrows of outrageous fortune’ that life may hold for you both.
The thrilling one-hole golf game at the end of the night, wherein golfers are eliminated at each stage of play, climaxes on the ninth hole green at Lionhead directly in front of Iggy’s pub.
