As far as team photos go, Zenit St Petersburg's will take some beating.

The Russian club, managed by former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas, won their domestic league with two games to spare last weekend.

And just how did Villas-Boas and his players celebrate? By dressing in traditional Russian clothing, as you do.

A picture was posted by former Manchester City player Javi Garcia on his Instagram account.

Zenit famously won the UEFA Cup (now Europa League) in 2008 when they beat Rangers 2-0 in the final in Manchester, a match notorious for Rangers fans rioting in the city.

And just how did Villas-Boas and his players celebrate? By dressing in traditional Russian clothing, as you do.

A picture was posted by former Manchester City player Javi Garcia on his Instagram account featuring a sharp-looking Garcia and his equally snappily-dressed team-mates, which includes former Arsenal forward Andrey Arshavin, surrounding Villas-Boas.

Zenit's title win, the fourth in their history, came in Villas-Boas's first full season in charge.

It's unusual that none of them are in pain rolling on the ground. Never seen anything quite like this!

Russia is not part of the EU in your case.

The first show that a club is a club is a club no matter what uniform you wear.. (when the FBI defect from 'the club' they become outlaw bikers in NA)
The 2nd photo shows which person would not the the 'quick way around'. Black socks means he will poke you in the eye with a finger if he can arrange it while not being seen.

No. 350lbs of mean is what I want to avoid if possible, if not, too bad for him. (heard that was the Captain of the Titanic as he steered 2 degrees closer to the iceberg and maxed out the engines)

Russia is not part of the EU in your case.

Russia, the biggest country in the world by far - twice the size of Canada - is a vast nation which straddles both the continents of Europe and Asia. Its capital Moscow is in Europe, as is the stunningly beautiful city of St Petersburg (formerly Leningrad).

The city was founded by Tsar Peter the Great on 27 May 1703. More than 1 million people died in the city, then known as Leningrad, during its Siege from September 1941 to January 1944.

In the football world, Russia is a member of UEFA.

I'm afraid you'll have to live with it. Such gamesmanship is part and parcel of the Beautiful Game.
