Royal eclipse

Reading the bible, I have found there is indeed a royal eclipse what we think we know of our lord and the world around us.

Out of Eden, the garden to the east, issued a river. Could you tell me which that is? Then it was to have split, as is = was then. That river circled the land of Cush, and so there is two more rivers. All connected.
Please answer me what I know. Which is which. Which is where.

Now int he Gospel of Thomas, there is a reading of the apocalypse. And in here I found something I pertaining to what I already knew.
"-the sun shall be cut in half like the moon-"
And so I say to you now. The moon is not full.

As we read on together, I wish to ask and say a many of things. But first.
Why is it you must hate your parents? from teach to student.

with anticipation

Wow....Trippy. You seem to have someone specific in mind with that
"hate your parents" stuff. Do you? I'm better with maps than riddles.

Got a map showing this geography you're describing? It would be
easier to picture it.

Not much of an answer to the questions at hand..
but being familiar with at least one other forum, I'll continue my inquiry. as to keep you from being a liar.

The world spins, always. East is never a location, It is merrily over the horizon.
Eden is the entire Earth, plentiful and green. Should you go west morning will come and you are in the east, beneath the sun and blessed by the parting moon.

A mystery from an old fart riding a turtle of biblical proportions. What shall we do to entertain another self appointed speaker for Gawd? Are you and Herald related? As for three rivers coming together - the Columbia, the Kootenay and the Spokane encompassing the land of the Sinixt, also known in ancient times as the land of Cush.

See, I can make stuff up too.

So you don't wanna locate the great rivers that explain gods greatness further then commonly accepted? is that truly so Cliffy. or was it my statement of Eden that threw out your faith in my context?

I have no faith in books or men. When I want to know the truth, I go to the source. The bible is a work of men. It is no more divine than any other thing created by men. If you did not blindly believe what others have told you about the bible, you would see that it is a work of fiction. I have studied it for over forty years. There is nothing divinely inspired in it. The god depicted therein is a psychopathic narcissistic lunatic created by those who sought to control the hearts and minds of man.

Eden is not the garden, it's a broader geographical term (it means plain in the ancient Sumerian language) indicating the land where the garden was placed. Genesis is pretty vague about this, it says a river "went out of Eden" to water the garden, then parted into four rivers, which are named: Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel, and (the only one that's still familiar) Euphrates. Hiddekel, because of references to Assyria in the text, appears to be what we now call the Tigris, the other two cannot be identified with any certainty. They may have been tributaries of the Tigris or Euphrates that have since dried up, the geography of that area has changed a lot since Genesis was written. The Tigris and Euphrates used to enter the Persian Gulf separately about 100 miles apart, now they join to form the Shatt-al-Arab long before they get there. Six thousand years of sedimentation has filled in the upper end of the Persian Gulf and moved its northwest end about 175 miles to the southeast.

But if you're trying to puzzle this out on the assumption that the Bible is literally true and correct in every detail, you're wasting your time, because it isn't.

Thank you Dexter for taking real interest.
Butt he bible clearly states that the rivers were then as they are now.
First stop using other peoples research to answer the question, it is the scholars and the scribes you missed out on heaven in their lifetimes.

This answer was passed down to Noah, and the world still hasn't seen. Show you have more sense then to listen tot he masses. Who burn away their time and life.

Your arguments are based on false premises and a good debater knows that doesn't work. The Bible is chalk full of a lot of B.S. Repeat that statement to yourself a few times. The Bible is chalk full of a lot of B.S. The Bible is chalk full of a lot of B.S. The Bible is chalk full of a lot of B.S. The Bible is chalk full of a lot of B.S. The Bible is chalk full of a lot of B.S. Get the idea? When you get that firmly implanted in your brain, then you will be a good debater or religion.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

But maybe you missed the current function of this thread. This is not a debate. This is a riddle. Lend me my answer, and I will share with you my gift.
The lord be with you, for he resides deep within me.
A good debater never leaves the main topic to ramble on.

Perhaps your thread would be better suited to the "Fun and Jokes" Department.:lol::lol:

But it belong in faith. The four rivers are still there, and they are only referenced in the bible. And the only one mentioned twice is the Euphrates.

For those who might find this thread and understand it's purpose.
Have you understood that god is lacking of a people right now.
Every religion is wrong or twisted. Jesus put down the church, and immediately after his death one was erected in his honor.
NOTE: his disciples were often refers to as, unbelievers. Explain.

Then the Bible is wrong, because they clearly aren't. If you deny evidence in favour of biblical authority, you're never going to figure out whatever it is you're trying to figure out. How could someone writing 6000 years ago possibly know what the rivers would be like now? The most scientifically advanced nation in the world can't even predict what the Mississippi's going to be like next year, never mind 6000 years from now. The landscape can change a lot in 6000 years.

Wrong, I have the answers. Yet you refuse to look passed what a scholar has told you. Nothing has changed, Your eyes are set in the wrong place.
That's what makes this a riddle.
