I do, just finished the first draft of my second novel, started the first draft of my third novel, submitted to another anthology that just went to editing and I'm writing a foreword for a novel going to its second print. Surprisingly I still have time for drinking and sex.

a noble purpose.

I try to tell my cat that my position within her organization is a noble position. I just get a cold look in return.

Good news is my dogs and my other 2 cats think I'm marvelous.

Sure. To highlight that God is not dead. To underscore that God IS and does exist.

I think it is just an idiom; surely it is not a denigration of others' religions..

I remember how "toughs" in elementary school often bragged how they "beat the living crap" out of someone or another. At the time, I thought most crap was pretty inanimate. But, what do I know beyond that crap is material.

And if there are any horror fans out there like me, I highly recommend Mark's book "The Equinox." It's an advanced course in horror. I loved it. And it's not just the booze talking neither.
