Trump and the GOP are dismantling the USPS, in order to circumvent the voting process. The Trump Administration is now resorting to fraud, in order to win the election. As you can clearly see in this picture taken in Portland, Oregon, they are removing mail boxes.

The USPS is shutting down mail-sorting machines crucial for processing absentee ballots as the 2020 election looms

Kind'a like the way Chretien changed party funding rules to make sure the Federal PC's could never rise from the ashes.

As for the mail-in voting bullshit, if it's safe enough to go to Walmart, if it's safe enough to go eat out, if it's safe enough to protest and riot, then it's f*cking safe enough to vote in person. Absentee voters obviously notwithstanding.

The Democrats clearly couldn't gain enough traction with their "Voter ID is racist" bullshit in order to give their illegal buddies the vote, so now they're trying to use Covid-19 as their cover.

Postal carriers union endorses Biden, warns that 'survival' of USPS is at stake

The endorsement comes after the president's resistance to Postal Service funding, amid his fight against expanded mail-in voting.

I hope they replace all the mail sorting machines they removed. That is the much larger issue.

It certainly is, and then of course there's Trump appointee, Louis DeJoy, the Postmaster General who is shady as shit. Trump just corrupts everything he ouches:

Congressional Progressive Caucus cochair Mark Pocan says, “Undermining the USPS is voter suppression—and it’s intentional.” Former FBI agent Asha Rangappa is even blunter. The president, she tells us, is “sabotaging an election in broad daylight (and admitting it on camera).”

But Trump has an accomplice.

DeJoy assumed the postmaster general position as a man with no background of work within the Postal Service. Where he does have a background is as a major donor to the president’s campaign—$1.2 million since 2016. In April 2017, he was named as a deputy finance chair for the Republican National Committee—serving with now-jailed Trump attorney Michael Cohen and venture capitalist Elliott Broidy. In May of last year, DeJoy took over as local finance chair for the 2020 Republican National Convention, which was then scheduled for Charlotte, N.C.

Over 100 protesters gathered outside DeJoy's Washington DC apartment to protest his dismantling of the USPS. There is a rally planned tomorrow just outside his permanent home in Greensboro, NC. People are finally rising up against tyranny in America.

Great disrupting neighborhoods is finally walking up . Is it okay if two play the same game . Are we going to have more people defending their homes arrested ? Do you condone the riot and looting going on in many American cities as waking up also ?

Even celebrities are now speaking out about Trump's attempt to rig the election by sabotaging the USPS.

Trump’s calculated dismantling of USPS proves one thing clearly: He is WELL AWARE that we do not want him as our president. He’s chosen to blatantly cheat and put millions of Americans’ lives at risk in an effort to hold on to power.

Louis DeJoy. USPS Postmaster

-donated millions to the Trump campaign
-owns shares in UPS and Amazon (conflict of interest)
-no experience in the Postal Service

Denying or interfering with the right of Americans to vote is the next thing to treason.

Much as I despise Trump, I would rather see him get a second term than deny American democracy.

It is sad that so many in democratic countries feel otherwise.

Good on them, damn those anarchists demanding the right to vote!

Meanwhile at the White House, the Potus and Flotus request you guessed it, mail in ballots.

It's being reported that the IG of the Postal Service will investigate changes the Post Master General has made to the service, that said how long before Trump fires himself another IG?

Okay but that is not widely used inside Canada . The majority of our population votes in person , would you change that for wide spread mail in voting and do away with polling places ?

I see internet voting becoming more mainstream before mail in .

Requesting an absentee ballot is not the same as mass mailout of ballots to potential voters

What's the effective difference?

Do you realize that, in your monomaniacal drive to get Trump re-elected, you are standing forthrightly opposed to the fundamental principle of democracy? Is that a place you're comfortable standing?

Is he . We here in Canada have been voting in person since confederation . Why would we need to change ? I can go to a pub or restaurant, why not to vote ?

We can mail in a vote. Why wouldn't the US. Wouldn't it be of bigger concern to keep an eye on the voter list?

Well, in my case it was because there ain't enough hours in the day to follow every little tiff some minor client state thinks is

We can if we jump through all the hoops , most don’t. We send out registration cards but do not mail ballots unless for requested absentees . From my understanding . I think they are looking at wholesale mail in voting in some states .
