The slaughter plant north of Calgary also had an infected worker

Yeah 3 places I'd pick up beef and frozen foods have closed for a minimum of 3 months, and 1 won't bother reopening..

My job is gone as a trucker, and other jobs.. Unless you are with a huge company like Bison, they can afford 50% cut in rates..

This was suppose to be 1 month, it's looking more like 3 to 6 months

Coronavirus: Florida vegetables an unexpected victim of COVID-19

I'm warning you now, there will be food shortages..

Same as what happened with toilet paper, and hand sanitizer, food is next when people learn.

They are already aware here in Texas and can food and other food that last long are gone off the shelves

It's not about having lots of food in your corner store NOW.

The stores also had lots of toilet paper, then people made a run on the stores.

When people hear about the plant closures on TV, which is now starting to hit the news down here, there will be more panic buying and shortages.

I'm just saying, buy it now before its to late, and there is nothing left..

If not, you'll be on a diet and lose some weight, which might be good for you.

Find a hopper and latch onto a custom seeding company. North America is the last hope for a good grain crop.

Global warming made it too damn cold.

TFWs are coming here but they do 14 paid days of isolation before hitting the fields.

My freezers are full.

Don't forget local farms folks....they have the meats.

Factory farms are the worst.

What is a factory farm?

A large industrialised farm on which large numbers of livestock are raised indoors in conditions intended to maximise production at minimal cost.

Also a house of horrors possibly rendering antibiotics redundant.

If you are ever bored read this book by a GWB former speech writer.

The solution is to have family that run cattle and have some hogs

Yep back to the olden days when small farms had big gardens, a couple of pigs, chickens, a couple of milk cows, cattle and grain production. Poached a couple of jumpers so they can sell excess produce, and livestock to pay the bills ;)
