Yes the tenuous link between welfare and minimum wage and poverty is link a Rubic's Cube

Not everyone can get it.

If a Canadian on welfare needs extra food they get a voucher that comes off their next cheque. How does that relate to food stamps?

.

See above for the context of these "foods stamps" that have you so puzzled.

if someone holds a job that they can only hold because the government is giving them support - then the business that employs that person is getting a government subsidy.

It's even worse than what we thought Petros.

I understand that welfare is a provincial responsibility and as it's the role of the Feds to be all things to all people, I'd say that it's the Federal gvt getting subsidies.

Tragic

Don't worry about the economy 'cause it's a fact that budgets balance themselves.

As for the rest of the issues, well, Sunny Ways takes care of all that

Horrible job results?

Ontario lost 80,000 jobs.

Didn't see Ford using the notwithstanding clause on that one.

Ontario and thus Canada are in for real hardship once this newest idiot in ontario gets through ruining the economy.

BC added 9,900 jobs in August.

I know that's probably pretty upsetting.

Not high paying union pipeline jobs . Now why would I ever think it is a bad thing if someone has a job ?

You mean the jobs that the summer students left washing dishes and those jobs that a previously employed has taken in the dish-pit?

So by your reckoning all your education is subsidized. When are you planing on paying your fair share?
