Seems to me that some turf war ended and now it's just business as usual. The police don't have control of anything and it's pretty clear when daylight shootings with a complete disregard for anything and everything happens, no one is at all worried about the police. What can happen even of they are caught, released on bail, wait for trial and maybe do a few years.
Gangs own the prisons and so they play be a different set of rules. All the prison wants is for things to go smoothly so they go along to get along.
I suppose we need to have a good ling investigation into what needs to be done, have a few speeches around the next elections summing up with some hearty thumps on the good old lecturn and a promise to get more cops on the streets.
How many cops does it take to catch some cold blooded killers in Toronto?
Who cares there are plenty more that came from.
