Oh Those Funny American Defense Contractors

To summarize: Employees of some American defense contractors, when visiting Canada, were confused and worried by the "poppy" quarters. Thinking they were some special nano-technology device, they filed espionage reports.

"The worried contractors described the coins as "anomalous" and "filled with something man-made that looked like nano-technology," according to once-classified U.S. government reports and e-mails obtained by the AP."

That is funny. I remember being at a party a couple years ago where someone jokingly suggested that the government was putting little red devices in coins to spy on us. Does this suggest a new level of paranoia...
