True history?

At a first glance, the aim of history criticism consist in (1) the unmasking of false history, (2) the establishment of true history. This scheme does not hold anymore once the reason is discovered for the constitution of false history. Demigods wrote false history as to hide from humans the truth about gods and humans. Sometimes history critics have remarked that power politics is not a sufficient reason for the creation of such an enormous quantity of mystified documents and history. Well, there is a more serious mobile including the more evident mobile: the power politics of demigods after the departure of the gods.

Ancient history (Antiquity and Middle Ages) has been invented using fragments of existing civilizations. In the case of ancient history, false history will never be replaced by true history, in the sense of a true story about empires, actors and events on the timeline. The gods do not have history. And the humans, as long as they were only slaves, did not have history. Sure, the living conditions and relational strutures of humans in the Ancient World are to be discovered, but this is more a question of anthrolopology than of historiography.

In the case of modern history, two layers are always at stake. On the human level, factual history more or less corresponds to the truth. But from the anomalies and structural oddities of standard history it appears that temporal causality is not sufficient to understand the story. The level of the demigods is not documented as such. And the vertical interventions by gods of demigods, perpendicular to the timeline, do not belong to history, even if this inverventions are very down to earth and consist for instance in the embedding of manuscripts or printed books.

In the case of demigods like Napoleon Bonaparte, the two layers are linked in the same person. The effects are very strange. From the human point of view, the entire Napoleon era is very well documented, in detail, for every country in which Napoleon has been active. And at the same time, Napoleon and his "rationale" remain a complete mystery, as the divine side is not documented at all. With events like the Egyptian or the Russian campaign of Napoleon, it is like with the pyramids of Cheops. There is no lack of visibility, they fill our field of vision, and yet we do not understand them at all.

The revolutionary French apparently thought it was their mission in the World to spread their revolution. Napoleon's narcissistic megalomania appears to have hijacked the movement for his own purposes. Amazing how random indivduals can skew reality so dramatically.

Does that excuse American narcissistic megalomania that has highjacked much of the last century? There are no random individuals capable of and commited to these adjustments. They are hand picked by Capital to serve Capital. Those butterflies have been reading solar

Wrong Direction

Posted on July 8, 2019by Louis Hissink
Five times a day the devout kneel and prostrate themselves in the direction of their authority. Except that one researcher has worked out that the location of that authority is at another place, the abandoned location of Petra in Southern Jordan.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIw1OPH6QvM
I suspect the torching of the Library of Alexandria by the Caliphate mentioned in the video was fabricated much later as a logical explanation for the global catastrophe, linked to Venus, that terminated Antiquity. The sheer size of the remaining constructions at Petra, along with Gothic architecture in Europe, and other inferred Middle Age architectural anachronisms suggests that the era of megafauna and flora was terminated by a series of catastrophes that humanity memorialised as religions.
It leads to the scenario that perhaps much of official history is unwittingly fabricated from whole cloth. It implies that the prophets weren’t, but who were conjured up to make sense for the uncomprehending survivors. After all if one’s authority needs obeisance, that authority needs compelling facts to support its primacy. Which implies that the Biblical prophets were added to history after the events occurred: catastrophes are, by definition, unpredictable. In other words history was rendered politically correct. What did Orwell write? He who controls the present, controls the past. And he who controls the past, controls the future.
Perhaps there is a reason why the three Abrahamic Faiths are monotheistic and also evangelical. Monotheism is intrinsically totalitarian and the hall mark of a cultural inability to adapt to a changing environment. They are, perhaps, living fossils.

Some of his publications are of the greatest importance for history criticism, for example his "Indo-European language and society". The Indo-European root language is a hypothesis, but in the meantime Benveniste is analyzing the primitive semantic fields of a large family of languages. The complete work is here: https://chs.harvard.edu/CHS/article/...ge-and-society

At the beginning of Chapter 6, "Cities and Communities", Benveniste says the following. "Let us state straight away that there is no term, from one end of the Indo-European world to the other, which designates an organized society". Sure, in the different languages terms exist to indicate specific groups, but on the most ancient and common level of the Indo-European language family there are no terms for "people" or "tribe" or "country". Nevertheless, even in the world of history criticism researches continue to think that our ancestors lived in tribes. Plenty of articles have been and are being published on the mystery of the Celts, the Scythians (who apparently were everywhere), the Etruscans or the Jews.

I must say that I rarely read this kind of articles. For the gods, the apparently tribal indications have an entire other meaning, stretching "Gallia" from Gallway in Ireland to Galatia in the Middle-East (see my post "Where is Gallia?" of 27/3/201. And humans were slaves. Their grouping or organisation was determined by their owners. The terms on which Benveniste stumbles, like civitas in Latin or polis in Greek, are related to the later organisation of free humans. In relation to the important term "arya", Benveniste says that it is correlated to the notion of "free man" before indicating an Aryan identity. The same is the case with the Franks (see my post "The Franks were not a tribe" of 20/5/201. The "De bello gallico" of Julius Caesar, mentioning the tribes of my ancestors the ancient Belgians, is a forgery among others.

Slaves worshipping fake power

In the time of the gods, the humans were slaves, and their relation to the gods was organised by religion. The quasi-religious adoration of power started here, and independently if the veneration was inspired by conviction of by fear, at that time it was needed for survival. The gods went away. Humans continued to venerate the absent gods. And within the visible world, they were looking for substitutes. Humans having power were charged with a mythical dimension. In the past, the humans having mythical power were always royals, belonging to the nobility or halfgods. Later and in our time, the humans having mythical power are nearly always presidents belonging to or installing a presidential regime. One would think, with Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and so on, we have seen enough mass murdering presidents in the twentieth century to learn our lesson. But obviously freedom remains for humans a difficult exercise. Instincts belonging to the first stage of human history are always there. This feelings are complete irrational, but already at the stage of presidential elections they come back again and again, feeding the hope and the expectation that the new president will be a messiah bringing salvation and the solution to the actual problems. Even if afterwards the quasi-religious veneration of the president by his sect or party continues, and his (or her, but it is nearly always a man) image and declarations are omnipresent, this must, as always, lead to a terrible disappointment. If a society is well organised and by its organisation is capable to solve its problems, then a magical president or prime minister is superfluous. On the other side, when some majority thinks that the fate of a country depends on a president launching a decree to the left and a decree to the right, then it is already clear that this society is badly organised and that no structural solutions will be created. The coordination can only coordinate what happens in society. If there is no progress in society, coordination does not help, and power is fake. The "news", feeding the mythical desires of the population with the daily adventures of the mighty, is fake because the power is fake. Even now when the impotence of particracy has become manifest, people continue to cherish the illusion of government, manifesting and demanding for instance that the government takes all measures to counter climate change. As a critic of past and current history I bite my breath observing this. Oh what a exemplary slaves, putting their lives in the hands of vain masters. Will they survive climate change?

Far worse things have already happened to the planet, before us. I'd give her 5-20 million years to produce another sentient life form.

Some immunity to radiation will be an asset.

Nahhh. Not reptiles, either.

Invertebrates. It could be that swarms of them combine into sentience, like bee hives, ant colonies and why not? We're just swarms of billions our own single cells and symbiont bacteria. They'll sure find space travel to be a lot easier, those roach colonies of the future. Just hatch a new hive when you get there, 20,000 years later.

Creating history working backwards

Christianity was created in the protorenaissance. From the protorenaissance the origin of Christianity was placed back to the first century, or better, the century which for that reason became the first. This first move is, let us say, from 1453 (the fall of Constantinopel) to 70 (the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem). At that moment, there was nothing in the first century.

The Jewish-Roman war, leading to the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem, started in the year 66 with the great Jewish revolution. Following the first chronology of the first century, king Herod the Great died in the same year 66.

Creating the time of Jesus, the death of king Herod the Great was placed back, in a first movement from 66 to 6, and in a second movement from 6 to minus 4, where his death has remained situated until today. A long reign was needed for Herod the Great. His nomination by the Romans as the king of the Jewish land was placed in minus 40.

The makers of history wanted to place the birth of Christ under the implicit protection of the Roman emperor. So the Roman empire had to begin in the decades preceding the first century. The first emperor was Julius Caesar, and his death was placed in minus 44.

As Jesus was born in the Jewish land, under the protection of the Roman empire, the Jewish land had to be conquered by the Romans. This was done by Pompeius in minus 63.

A serious Jewish kingdom was needed that could be conquered by the Romans. As the story starts from nearly nothing (Jews having a temple in Jerusalem), time was needed to build up this kingdom, about a century before the arrival of Pompeius. The building up starts with the revolt of the Maccabaeans, placed in minus 167.

The beginning of the Roman empire goes together with the end of the Greek world domination. The whole structure of the first century was prepared in the 150 years preceding the first century. In that time, the Romans made an end to the dynasty of the Macedonians in Greece, the dynasty of the Seleucids in Syria, and the dynasty of the Ptolemaeans in Egypt.

By this operations, the Greek line of history construction received the place in chronology which it has until today. The revolt of the Maccabaeans was against the Seleucid king Antiochus Epiphanes. Working back from there, Alexander the Great find a place in century minus 4, and Solon and the beginning of the Athenian democracy in century minus 6.

As in the biblical story about the kingdoms Judah and Israel, and the corresponding prophets, no mention is made of the Greeks, interaction between the "Jewish" kingdoms of the Bible and the Greeks had to be avoided. That is the reason why the conquest of Jerusalem by the Babylonians, and the beginning of the exile of Judah, was equally placed in century minus 6, more precisely in minus 586.

From there the makers of history had only to follow the biblical story back to the creation of the world. The chronology had large margins of freedom. "Flavius Josephus" in the Antiquitates Judaicae placed the creation of the world in the year minus 5099, 5000 years before the birth of Julius Caesar.

Working backwards is one of the mechanisms used by the makers of history.

It is that very radiation that drives the evolutionary process. Rather than some immunity I would guess some ability to adapt would be preferable, six of one half a dozen of the other in the end, yah some immunity some adaptability. Them cosmic partikules are hard to stop. The present human forms must have survived and adapted from older forms many times in the past constantly changing cosmic environment, certainly this would partially account for the different human forms of today. Habitations with different global location would have evolved for those locations and rather more quickly than usually thought and taught. I,m thinking that the raw materials and info used in the cultivation of the human species was perhaps selected because of something we called advancement. Some execution of some plan by some superior order working out of seeming chaos.

I suggest that evolution on earth and of earth is most certainly not the primary result of earth bound environments and that the entire universe is subject to continuous unavoidable evolution and even the common lesser gods are subject to the whims of whatever it is we call The One and Only Universe.

Inertia isn't "running down" at all. Inertia is maintaining a steady state and it is the opposite of winding down. Inertia reduces the rate of entropy.

Of course mere humans have trouble with the concept of eternity cuz we humans have to have a beginning and an end to our story and we have neither, the stuff we,re made of is the same as stars.
