A CF Snowbird plane flying over the BC interior crashed less than an hour ago into a residential neighborhood. At least one fatality reported.

cell phone video of the ejection. He had zero seconds left to pull the pin.

amazing that he lived given the altitude and attitude of the aircraft. He was nowhere near the ejection envelope.

He never even had enough time to make the decision to bail. Glad he made it out.

Those t-33 aircraft are now about 75 years old!

Time to DAMIT THEY ARE ANTIQUES and to GROUND THEM!

They are NOT GETTING as much maintenance and rebuilding AS THEY NEED!

RCAF HAS RUN OUT of useful parts from the SCRAP YARD - and safety is SUFFERING!

This is the Sea King helicopter mess BEING REPEATED!

Not the right video. This is from New Jersey.

You can see that the parachute does not have time to properly deploy. Not sure if that's two seats coming out of the aircraft or just one and the canopy.

The T33 is an ANTIQUE twin seat trainer aircraft - thus you VERY LIKELY ARE looking at two seats - but one pilot!
